Rated 4 out of 5 by It seems to me there is a major change in the size of the 8-days-a-week pleaded twill pants. The half-elastic waistband is for extra comfort is not anymore confortable. They should correct that in a near future and offer a smoother tissue. PMD March 9, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as in the past The waist size was less than what was ordered, running smaller, so did not fit. Also the pants, two ordered, had short strides, so the rise needed was short and would be uncomfortable. We need a return to past quality. I have several of Travelsmith pants in my wardrobe that are perfect and hope to find better in the future. These were returned. December 9, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good product but wildly Inconsistent There have been size issues with this product for a while. Please believe travelsmith when they say order one size up. Sadly, there are other sizing problems to consider as well. My last order was for two pair of slacks. The gray pair fit perfectly but, unfortunately, the khaki pair was not only tight in the waist but full enough in the rear to carry my lunch back there. The fact that I've hung in there for a while is a testament to other very positive quality and comfort aspects of the product but this is quickly moving from a wardrobe staple to a back of the closet item. Rated 4 out of 5 by Tried and True pants My husband has several pairs of these pants both in the khaki and stone colors. He really enjoys wearing them. He finds them to be very comfortable and they hold their smooth appearance through several wearings. I do "touch them up" with the iron after laundering. This particular pair; however, proved to run smaller than the stated size. I have found that sometimes small oily spots are difficult to clean especially from the khaki. One pair has proved to wear noticeably along the bottom of the cuffs. February 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointing I have bought these pants several times over the last 15 years. They get worse every time. The size varies dramatically each time, getting smaller and tighter. The last batch of pants is made of a new material that is stiff and wrinkles very badly. I wore the pants for two hours and they looked like I had worn them for a week. Terrible. The first pair I bought many years ago still looks good and fits perfectly. The latest version is not wearable. December 13, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mine are finally wearing out I have had 5 pairs of the blue they used to make for years. I have worn them each weekly for over five years and they are just now starting to show wear. They fit my unusual frame better than any other pant I have found. Two of the pairs needed the hem to be redone shortly after arrival, but no other problems. I am sorry to see they no longer sell dark ones and I am concerned about recent reviews. The ones I bought have been the best clothing purchase I ever made. May 10, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by If you love extreme wrinkles, buy these pants! Astonishing wrinkles appear soon after you slip into these pants and they get worse the longer you wear them. The wrinkles do not shake out. You'll have to travel with an iron and be satisfied with only about ten minutes of wear each day without winkles. Why are these marketed as "8-days-a-week" travel pants? I don't want to take them on a trip. They are headed for the Salvation Army clothing donation bin. BTW, TravelSmith tailors do a very nice job on pant cuffs. June 27, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as Good as Before I bought three pairs of these pants a few years ago for my husband and he loved them. I looked for the same item and it wasn't available. This was very close (both were called 8 Days-a-Week Pants). The newer ones are not as soft as the older ones and don't hold a press as well. They also are not nearly as wrinkle resistant. They will serve the purpose but when you have a good thing you shouldn't change it! May 13, 2011
