Habitat for Humanity

Envisioning a World Where Everyone Has a Decent Place to Live

Nearly 2 billion people around the world live in slum-housing conditions; more than 100 million people are homeless. Families ravaged by natural disasters, war and civil unrest often face dire housing situations as they struggle to rebuild their lives. Initially founded in 1942 and founded internationally in 1976, the nonprofit ministry Habitat for Humanity is a world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing. Building and repairing simple houses all over the world—under trained supervision and with a focus on sustainability, energy-efficiency and health—it partners with people in need, regardless of race or religion and welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds. Habitat for Humanity has 1,500+ affiliates in the U.S., more than 70 global organizations and upwards of 1 million volunteers yearly. Today, Habitat has helped build or repair more than 800,000 houses and served more than 4 million people worldwide. To learn more or make a donation, please visit

U.S. Fund for UNICEF

Saving Children's Lives

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) works in more than 190 countries and territories to save and improve children’s lives by providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief, and more. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF supports UNICEF’s work through fundraising, advocacy, and education in the United States. Together, we are working toward the day when ZERO children die of things we can prevent, and every child has a safe and healthy childhood.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Finding Cures. Saving Children.

"No child should die in the dawn of life”. This conviction drove renowned entertainer Danny Thomas to found St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 1962. In 1977, St. Jude was accepted by the National Cancer Institute; in 2008 it achieved comprehensive status. Today, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Ranked one of the best pediatric cancer hospitals in the country, it is the nation’s first and only comprehensive cancer center devoted solely to children. With a focus on highly integrated programs, excellent shared resources and a collaborative culture, St. Jude freely shares breakthroughs with doctors and scientists worldwide. Over the years, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. And because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most—saving kids regardless of their financial situation. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food—because a family should be able to focus solely on helping a child live. Over the next 50 years, St. Jude’s mission is to improve survival rates for childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases to 100%. To learn more or make a donation, please visit
