All Seasons Blazer

Worth Every Penny
Although it took three tries to get the correct size because it runs so small, I recently wore this blazer all over France for two weeks and it was perfect. It washes and dries beautifully, you can keep it folded in your suitcase for a couple of days and it comes out without a wrinkle. It pairs very well with the belted trench coat. My only objection is that the blazer is too heavy for late spring to early fall, definitely not all season.

favorite blazer a disappointment
First, i must say this blazer is made impeckably well and the value is definitely there. If your looking for a winter blazer, this is excellent. But for an all season choice, i was disappointed. I purchase this blazer about 8 years ago and wore it more than 3 times a week. It was of a different fabric mix that was lighter and spanned every season. The current fabric is much heavier and not as flexiable as desired.
Also the fit at the waist was not the best for me. My previous blazer had shape and definition but this one seemed to be cut to extreme in the waist area. Sorry to say, i sent it back.
Travel Smith, please, please rework this blazers fabric into a more seasonably appropriate choice!

Heavier than expected
I've had this blazer for probably a year now. It is heavier than expected, based on the "all-season" description. It's heavy and warm for the Spring and definitely too warm for the Summer months. The quality is good and it drapes and looks very nice, but I would get more use out of it if it were made of a lighter-weight fabric. I'd hoped for a real year-round blazer.
