Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed I have purchased travel clothes for a long time from TravelSmith. Have other jackets with passport pockets that are not offered anymore. I wanted a red blazer and I was truly disappointed in this one. First, the boarding pass does not fit in the inside pocket. It is short about 3 to 4 inches. I thought I lost my boarding pass when changing planes in Paris which had my luggage info on it. Fortunately I found it on the floor. It is difficult to put in and take out the passport from the zipped pocket. Not good when in security lines. And it seemed heavier and warmer than the other blazers I have. Am planning to give this one to Goodwill. It is not a keeper. Sad ... especially after one trip. July 14, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by will wear it - but not thrilled with it It is NOT Navy Blue - it is midnight blue and can hardly be differentiated from black. Arrived very wrinkled and the wrinkles have not fallen out. That means a trip to the cleaners before it can be worn. July 8, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Didn't fit well This jacket has a nice feel to it but it is heavier and larger expected. I had to return it. The jacket flairs our at the waist making it look bulky. July 3, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too Heavy Because of Poor Fabric Choices Just returned a navy all season blazer. I have an older navy blazer I needed to replace. It is light weight, made of 50% rayon, 50% polyester and lined in polyester. Never wrinkles. Comes out of a suitcase without wrinkles when travelling overseas. Returned blazer is too heavy for suitcase weight restrictions when flying overseas. Planes are too dirty to wear on board. Unless you are in air conditioning, you cannot wear this blazer in the Southwest or South because it is too hot for late spring through summer and part of the fall. You have a great idea you just have to get rid of spandex and change to rayon and polyester. Loosen up the middle just a little for more comfort, too, for sitting long periods of time for those of us that are older. Comfort is priority for travelers who are older but want to look well dressed, too. Hope you make some changes or give us two different blazers to choose from. No, I cannot recommend this blazer as it is made today. June 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE but be careful runs very large I normally wear a 10-12 (closer to 12 depending on the cut) but it was very challenging to find my size in this garment. I ended up with an 8. I am 5'2.5" and about 145 lbs. Hips about 40" in diameter. I carry some extra weight in the arms and I am small busted. I am shortwaisted and curvy #hourglass figure# So you can see the dilemma. I need a garment that doesn't swim on the top but which is generous to fit properly across the hips. Therefore I usually size up on a jacket. BUT hubby said "no" it's swimming on you honey. So back the 10 went. Ordered 3 more in black/red and navy in size 8P. Love the "storage" in this jacket. It is a bit heavy for summer. You would #or at least I would# sweat bullets. So I think it better to call it a 3 Season Jacket. Suitable for fall/winter and early spring. It will wrinkle some if you leave it on in the car, etc., so be mindful of that. I am, overall pleased, but would like to see a fabric which has the "storage" factor but that does not wrinkle as easily. June 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Pleased with this Blazer This was my first order with Travelsmith, so I was careful to make sure I bought a needed blazer on sale. I needed a jacket/blazer to wear on cool days/nights on a cruise & land vacation in the Mediterranean. My criteria were neutral color, wrinkle resistance, quality, security pockets and style. I got the package scrunched into my mailbox, so this was a big test for it's travel readiness. I am so pleased to report that this blazer more than satisfies this customer. It is very well made, and does defy most wrinkling. The lining is very rich, and the inside pockets are well concealed. It fits perfectly and goes far in the world of mix and match. It is much heavier than I expected, but that is okay as I'm wearing it on my flights & not packing it. I generally wear an XL or 14/16, and this jacket is true to size. I am large busted and could not comfortably button or layer underneath this jacket, but that is not the plan. Sleeve length is perfect, so if I had bought a 16, the buttons would close but the sleeves would be too long. I'll get a lot of use out of this blazer on my trips, as well as for evenings out at home. Stylish enough to dress up or down. Thanks Travelsmith. I'll be ordering more! May 8, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by A wrinkled mess This jacket was a disappointment. Although the size was fine, the fabric is not wrinkle resistant. I've tried steaming to no avail. I can't imagine using it for travel, unless I want to tote a steam iron around with me. I regret not returning it. May 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice jacket for casual look I measured myself and checked the size chart - but the jacket was a little large. Returned it (after thinking and thinking what to do) and a smaller size was QUICKLY sent my way. So glad I did that. April 30, 2015
