AM/PM Vitamin/Pill Case 4.6 5 73 73
Holds a lot I travel with a lot of vitamins and this seems to do the trick. I just received it, so I cannot say how long it will hold up. The only thing I am not real crazy about is the plastic that holds the pills. Wish it were made of something more natural. January 24, 2015
Great purchase I highly recommend this for a compact container for several days of pills. Like it so well I ordered another one for myself. January 22, 2015
Reorders once again Both the 8 pouch and the 16 pouch pill cases are fine buys. The plastic holders for the pills do wear out over time so if you like this convenient method of traveling with pills consider ordering some spare holders. I use the 8 pack for short one-week or less trips and the 16 pack for longer trips. I carry a list to tell me which pouch number has which type of pill stored and when to take it. This has worked for me for several years. December 20, 2014
Compact Easy to Pack Much easier to pack your medications in, soft sided yet protects the contents. Won't "pop" open like a lot of containers would. October 21, 2014
Enelopes are only questionable quality element We have used these for travel for many years. The only down side is that the envelopes split down the side and often the closure slides off the end and is very hard to reattach. When replacement envelopes are ordered, they are not numbered which eliminates one of the main attractions to this product. September 19, 2014
Not worth the money Compared to the simple pill container, I found this pill case to be bulky, tedious to fill and inconvenient to carry around. Stick to the old tried and true solutions for a quarter of the price. September 12, 2014
Handy but pill pouches split We find these very helpful; pouches are large enough for days worth of pills. However, the pouches often split down the side; replacements can be purchased but they are clear (not numbered) so can be confusing for older folks. August 23, 2014
incredibly useful not just on road but at home! This is an extremely helpful, practical tool that has transformed my life at home, not just on the road. I'm so sick of keeping multiple pill bottles at bedside, and every month upon refilling prescriptions I have more bottles when the others aren't quite finished yet. Here's the solution: 1) If you need pills day and night, buy 4 of these cases; if you only take pills at one time of day you'll need 2. 2) When you get a month's worth of pills, load your cases, 8 envelopes at a time. Pull 8 envelopes (one side's worth) out of the case and prop them up, open, against a pillow or a bunched-up duvet or something similar. Now take 8 of pill 1 out of its pottle and put one in each of the 8 envelopes. By keeping 8 pills in your hand as you start to fill the envelopes, you can keep track better of how many you should use up on that round and be sure you don't lose or skip any. When you've finished all 8 of pill 1, start again with 8 of pill 2, and keep going until you've done all the pills. Slide the zipper closed on each envelope and replace it in its slot in the case (easy -- both envelopes and slots are numbered). Repeat for another set of 8 of everything (or let the first set be your morning pills and start now with your evening pills), and now you've filled case 1. Then do the same with the remaining case(s). When you're done, you'll have used up ALL your monthly meds, and the bottles can now be thrown away! Additional benefits? Well, I often get so tired at night that I start to drift off to sleep before taking my meds, and sometimes my lesser self says "just let it go" and lets me fall asleep. Bad. It's just such a pain to open up so many bottles when you're tired (being sure you have the right ones, you didn't miss any, etc.). Now, my better self says "easy!" and prompts me to grab the current case, pop open the next envelope (it's easy to tell which ones are already used if you just leave the slider open when replacing the empty envelope in its slot after use), and pop the night's pills into my mouth. Six seconds, max. Hey, even an exhausted person can do that! Best of all -- my meds, now neatly organized, are also ready to take with me at a moment's notice. Unexpected trip? Worse, an emergency evacuation? No problem. Grab these cases and go. I can't tell you what a joy it is to have these! STRONGLY recommend them! A very small investment for a huge convenience, day after day, forever! P.S. Be sure to buy some of the replacement envelopes ($3 for 4 pcs). If you have medicines you take only under certain circumstances (pain killers, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, etc.), fill an extra envelope with them and stick the envelope into one of the large zippered openings along the spine of the case. Some reviewers say they're hard to use, but my experience has been exactly the opposite. I have 5 different extra envelopes, 2 of which are filled to bulging, and I can squeeze them into the openings in the spine of the case even when the case is totally full at the beginning of the month. And when you finish one case and reach for the next one, just transfer those extra envelopes into the zippered openings in the spine of the next case -- good to go! Besides, having extra envelopes means you won't panic if one bursts on you or loses its slider tab, as some reviewers have said they do sometimes. I haven't had any such troubles but will just grab an extra envelope and use a Sharpie to write the appropriate number on it if it happens to me. August 13, 2014
