Excellent Choice
Looking for a light weight rainproof jacket for an upcoming trip to the Chesapeake area, I ordered this in Red. The quality is excellent, and the fit is great. I have worn it this spring without the liner (also purchased) and it is warm enough for most spring days. I like the style and the ability to pack away it in its' own pouch. It doesn't wrinkle, so it looks fine even after being stored in the pouch awhile.

Anorak Rain Jacket
I purchased the Petite, but switched to the regular size. I love the color and the jacket fits perfectly. I am very happy with my Anorak Rain Jacket.

not what I had hoped
I stayed away from the red, because reviews had indicated problems with the dye. The blue is a lovely color, and I liked the fabric. However, I think that other reviewers have been too generous in comments about the style. At first I thought it must be the wrong size because it was so loose and shapeless. Even when I pulled the waist cord, it puffed out and did not have the streamlined shape I would have preferred. The sleeves are barely long enough. The worst is the crinkle sound. That might be OK in a heavy rain, but I was hoping for a more versatile jacket. I don't think I could wear this jacket except in the rain :(

Needs tweaking--quality not up to par
This coat had NO hook for hanging on coat racks. It could easily have had a loose TS tag for that purpose. I bought and installed a metal chain for hanging. Doesn't look as nice, but is now functional. Main front zipper pull is too small and hard to find. Other pulls are even smaller and equally inconvenient to operate. Had to sew (reduce size of) button loops to make them tighter, so they would not slip off the buttons inside each cuff. Bought optional black Thermolite liner for the stone coat and it hung down below the back hem, although it was the same size as the coat. Why? I had to run a 1/2" hem along the bottom of the liner to keep it from hanging out. I went to way too much trouble for a TS garment. These things would not have added any costs. Corners were cut and it was obvious! I hope I don't have any more surprises as I use it for travel. My husband and I have long relied upon TS to produce garments that "work" well. This one falls short of the quality of well-worn favorites.

Pockets way too small
I bought this jacket and the thermolite liner. I read reviews that complained of the jacket making a rustling noise, which is does, but that's not an issue. The biggest problem with the jacket is that not only are the front pockets too small, the openings are way too small to comfortably insert one's hand. I'm 5'2' and my hands are fairly small, yet between the size of the pocket opening, and the pocket's placement on the coat, it is nearly impossible to put my hands in the jacket pockets. Additionally, the liner does not stay buttoned into the jacket sleeves, and comes out every time I take the coat off.

not what I expected
the jacket runs small. I was also surprised that the fabric doesnt breathe very well. It does look good, perhaps I will get use to it
