Very disappointing
This bag is very disappointing. I own another Baggalini Bag (Urban Backpack) from Travelsmith that I have used and loved for years. This bag is so different in quality: the fabric is bad looking, the zippers are sticking, the lining gets caught in the zippers, the hardware is heavy & adds uncessary weight. Conversion to backpack (that is what I was looking for) is difficult to do and it hangs weirdly on the back. I looked through the catalogue for an exchange but cannot find one where I would trust the description after this disappointing performance. I am disappointed and angry at having paid shipping for getting it and now again having to pay shipping for returning it. I

The Devil is in the Details
Loved the color(gray) and the style. BUT zipper kept snagging on the lining and I couldn't dislodge it the second time. The exterior fabric is showing dirt with nomral use and isn't water proof.

Not so good
Bought bag for versitility/size/wt. After using for Europe trip and as everyday bag for 2 months, I found the loose, slippery lining inside main compartment and unanchored lining of the 2 inside zippered pockets caused things to get lost in the bottom thus constantly searching for things. Had to revert to using small containers to keep items accessible. Pull on zipper of 1 inside pocket broke off leaving nothing to attach a new pull. Outside card pocket was a pain with turn button closure on flap then arching zipper closure. Zipper was difficult to maneuver without 2 hands. Only compartment accessible while on back was the verticle zipper. I wouldn't buy it again and don't recommend it.

Ouch
I have a light-color Baggallini of a different style and love it. This one doesn't have quite the same features, but the worst is trying to wear it as a backpack, which was the reason I got it. The traps are much too narrow. It gets uncomfortable even through my winter coat. I'd like to find some padded velcro wraps but doubt they make such a thing. I have to regret this one. Why make a backpack strap so uncomfortable? It's nice otherwise, but not why I got it.

Great travel bag
I just returned from a 2 1/2 week trip to Europe. This bag was great - light and very roomy! Still easy to find items too!

disappointed
wanted this to be the perfect bag (convert. backpack), but it wasn't. converts easily enough but hard to get into with straps getting in way. When it got a little rained on the interior and exterior began to stick to one another creating wrinkles. also, buckles on the side stick out catching on things and scratching.
Travelsmith is kindly exchanging for the Sak convertible (which is much more $). will let ya know.

Great Bag!
Just got back from my first trip with this very versatile bag. Nice light weight, straps are a good length to carry over the shoulder and very easily converts to the backpack. A little more work to make it a cross-body bag. Nice look. Nice size. Zippers are a bit "sticky" but I think that can be remedied pretty easily. All in all, a pretty terrific travel bag.

Perfect bag for a trip
I hardly ever write reviews, but this bag is so outstanding I had to do it this time. I just got back from a trip, and this bag kept everything organized. It wipes clean, looks classy & I love that it converts to three different ways to carry it. Worth every penny.
