Blow-Up Foot Rest 4.1 5 25 26
not enough room Just bought and traveled with my blow up foot rest and since I have short legs and am uncomfortable on plane seats, thought this would help. First, going overseas, the economy seats are SO close that there is barely room for the foot rest and it is just another bit hogging space in an already crowded area. On the aisle seats the support of the seat in front precludes putting it under the seat in front to stretch your legs on it so it is directly in front of the edge of your seat - too close for real comfort. In the middle seats you are squeezed in with barely room to blow it up (more than just a few puffs, but not awful) and have more difficulty positioning it. In Economy Plus it may work better but you don't need it for the rest of the upgrades. And, deflated (not terribly easy even with the valve release) it is large enough that it takes a lot of space in your carry-on and doesn't fit into the folding organizer that attaches to the tray. All in all I wouldn't waste the $20! November 5, 2010
Leg relief for the vertically challenged Just purchased and tried the foot rest. Packaging is small, so it fit in my carry on. Blew up in 30 seconds, and it fit fine in my foot area, even with my carry on under the seat in front. I'm 4'10" with trouble walking after my feet dangle during flights. Arrived 2.5 hrs later with good circulation. Was able to walk off the plane in turn instead of waiting to the last to allow my legs to be functional. Highly recommend for flying or car trips. I bring a gallon plastic bag and roll the deflated rest in it. That way I can toss the bag after the trip, wipe clean the rest, and load in a fresh bag for next time. Next test - movie theaters. Happy with quality I purchased this after my knee surgery as I needed a foot rest in the shower. It is sturdy and I think will last a long time. I also plan to take it on the plane, as the reviews are favorable for this purpose too. I'm very happy with this purchase. May 13, 2014
Never without it I used this blow-up foot pillow for the first time this month after reading the mixed reviews about it. What are they talking about? I absolutely love it. It's compact, easy to blow up, and solves the problem of my varicose veins against the seat for long flights. I will never travel without it again for flights longer than 2 hours. Thank you so very much for bringing a product like this to fellow travelers. I now know I'll have relief on those tortuous long flights. May 11, 2011
Worked for me I purchased this foot pillow for bus/plane travel. I put it on top of my carryon and it raises my legs up high enough for me to be comfortable. I will never travel again without it. Just deflate it, roll it up and stick in your carryon. I had no problems with air leakage. September 26, 2011
Excellent Product I have a problem with my legs swelling when I travel (by car or plane) for an extended eriod. This inflatable pillow helps reduce my swelling. I highly recommend it. May 23, 2012
So-So Unlike most others who wrote reviews, I didn't buy this for the plane. Rather, I wanted a small footrest for my small office. This blow-up foot rest really isn't durable enough to use when wearing shoes; I was constantly concerned about puncturing it, and it seemed to steadily lose air. Having now seen it in person, I cannot imagine that it would fit on the floor of an airplane if one is seated in coach. January 24, 2011
HORRIBLE! I was very excited to use this footrest on a long trip to Italy 2 weeks ago. I got settled and blew up the footrest, I repositioned myself and put my feet back down and poof! it popped 5 minutes in to my flight. The side of it actually burst at the seams. I considered saving it to return to Travelsmith but decided to save the space in my suitcase for something more worthwhile. October 13, 2010
