Rated 5 out of 5 by great travel companion I am always needing a light jacket when traveling for indoor air conditioning and this one fits the bill. It is lightweight and I love all the pockets. I take this with me everywhere I go! October 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Practical, well made, am buying another Last year I bought this jacket in XL because I was really bulging. It covers well and can be used with dungarees or any other slacks. The pockets are WONDERFUL! When I put it on this year, it sagged. I thought twice about buying another (because of the price) but decided that I'll give the too big jacket to our "treasure chest" and buy one that fits -- this time in olive. May 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very hopeful.................NOT disappointed! I have gained alot of weight over the last few years. So, I realized I needed to upgrade my wardrobe. I believe you HAVE to feel good about where you are EVEN if you are loosing weight. BUT, it is had to find appropriate fitting clothing. I needed some kind of light weight long sleeve Jacket. I fell in love with the LOOK of this piece. I took a chance. This jacket is all I wished for! First, the fabric ( and I AM a fabric-snob) is wonderful! High quality. The fit is incredible! I am full everywhere.......bust, waist and hip. This jacket is flattering , with it's princess lines. Then you have so many pockets! The price is well.........."you get what you pay for"..... Can you tell...................I ADORE my jacket! June 4, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great, Comfortable Everyday Jacket the bush poplin safari jacket is a wonderfully comfortable jacket. as someone who is forever putting things away for "safekeeping," the 8 pockets are particularly noteworthy. i vacillated between the olive & beige colors, but the former looked brown (ick), so the latter's versatility won out. the fact that travelsmith offered it at a sale price as well as free shipping made the bush poplin safari jacket one of my best purchases ever. highly recommended! Rated 5 out of 5 by Glad I bought it When I was in the Peace Corps in Africa so many years ago, I had a beige safari-style jacket that I loved so much I wore it to death. Recently I was feeling nostalgic and looking on line for something similar, and the closest I could find to my dear departed jacket was the Travelsmith version. Since I'm just under 5'2" and pear-shaped (not fat, but nothing like the tall, slender Travelsmith models), whenever I can I buy medium petites. But this jacket didn't come in petite, so I was apprehensive. I figured that even if it was a little large in medium, I'd be able to layer clothing under it. I might have been able to get away with a small in this jacket, but I like having a little extra room. Also, when I buy long-sleeved items, I try to get them with cuffs so I can fold them back because my arms are short and even petite sizes can be too long in the sleeve. And this jacket has cuffs, so that worked out too. As it turns out, it's pretty perfect: It's great-looking (my partner tells me it looks Italian, which he considers a compliment), it has an elasticized waist that you can adjust (I like emphasizing my waist), the length is good (it covers my butt, which I prefer), and the sleeves fit with one turn-back of the cuffs. I haven't tried it with the sleeves folded above the elbows, and the fabric does seem a little too thick for that. But I don't care. I'm going to wear it as a long-sleeve fall and spring jacket. This was my first purchase from Travelsmith and I couldn't be more pleased. I even got it on sale! September 14, 2013
