Cambridge Windowpane Tweed Sport Coat 3.5 5 3 4
bullseye I was very impressed with the quality of the material and craftsmanship for the price. This was a great deal. I look forward to more selections in the future! December 14, 2010
Good, but too much bad! The suit fabric is attractive and appears to be wrinkle-free as advertised. The sleeve length and chest size are fine. The price is reasonable. However, the bottom line is "do you look good in this suit?" In profile, the cut of the suit's bottom portion flares out in front and back, making it look like you're wearing a large pear. After four attempts to have an experienced tailor of sport coats correct this problem, the front still flares out (though less) and the back vent eventually had to be sewn shut to keep it from looking like a vast tail feather. I would have been better off returning the suit in the first place. This makes two of three items I've purchased that have been unsatisfactory in cut or sizing. April 13, 2011
A nice solution to looking informally formal I think it is easy to be unrealistic with expectations for a travel coat. You need to balance the need to fulfill the rigors of travel with the desire to have a finely tailored fit. This coat is a nice compromise: elegant enough, but looks great with jeans. It's cut somewhere between a real sports coat and a jacket, with plenty of interior pocket space. It's just a teensy weensy on the heavy side, but it is tweed, so what would you expect? The tweed is an excellent pattern and color, sure to match just about anything. August 10, 2012
