Convertible-Sleeve Slicker 4.6 5 68 68
Why did I wait so long?? I have desired this jacket for the 2+ years it’s been in the catalog, and an impending fall trip to Italy finally pushed me into ordering. I am thrilled with it. The mustard color is great…I’m an “electric” in the color systems and this is that: a great, bright mustard color which can read as almost a neutral. It goes with my mostly black/gray/navy/white travel wardrobe really well. The fit is true, with a slight tendency toward smaller. I may exchange it for one size up, but I’m still pretty happy with it for a late summer, early fall raincoat…I won’t be layering much underneath it. It compresses small for packing and the fabric looks expensive, great, very soft, and I love the sleeves being able to be snugged up to the elbow. Major points for style, and packability, I am really, really happy with it. Another great TravelSmith buy, thanks! June 5, 2015
Perfect Raincoat I needed a raincoat for a trip to Ireland, but didn't want to spend a fortune since it's not an item I need living in Southern California. I looked at so many raincoats in all price ranges and couldn't find what I needed or wanted -- until I saw this coat. I was lucky enough to get this at the sale price, but only in Mustard, which I ended up liking. The material, style and fit is perfect -- perfect for the Irish rain and wind. Also it's perfect to wear as a 'wind breaker' back home! May 28, 2015
Super cute; very versatile Got this coat in the mail today. I am very happy with it. There has been a lot of discussion about the Mustard color; I was relieved and pleased to see how pretty it is. It's lively without being over the top. I wear 8-10 and the medium fit me loosely but well....I can put a sweater under it, but it doesn't look baggy. The waist adjustment in the back helps give it a nice shape. May 19, 2015
Best travel raincoat ever Bought this for a trip to Holland and Italy early April 2015. It packs wonderfully in it's own little bag of the same material, and since it is not stiff, it fits nicely stuffed into a bag carry on that I also put my purse, IPad, kindle, Chargers, etc., into. It whips out of it's bag with nary a wrinkle, if you roll it up first. Had many compliments, and where did you get it? questions. Found a Pashmina scarf in Holland which matched it perfectly, which was a fun find. I bought the cranberry color, since it went with everything I took on the trip, and yes, it shed wind and rain as promised, and dried quickly in the room at night. Love it! Worth the extra cost to get a really nice, soft, raincoat, that hangs beautifully, and is so comfortable to wear. Looks elegant too! May 13, 2015
the rain slicker fit my wife perfectly, but the color of mustard was not a color she licked. She was expecting a bright yellow. We returned for an exchange for the Grass Greeg April 1, 2015
It is a handsome coat and well made but I need a coat lined with breathable fabric because they make you feel your in a sauna March 31, 2015
It's Pumpkin! The fabric has a lovely, silk like sheen that makes the colour of this garment change in various lights. Sometimes it's gold, sometimes it's mustard, sometimes it's pumpkin. It wasn't the yellow slicker I was after, but so much of this coat hits the mark (the hood, all the pockets, the sleeve detail) that it turned out to be a keeper. For those outside the US, look out for the duty at the door... Travelsmith has some work to do to upgrade their international shipping methods. :( March 27, 2015
Rain jacket Love the look and weight of this rain jacket! Will be carrying it while I travel so the travel pouch is a plus. I can put it in my tote bag and carry it with ease. No reason to let a rainy day spoil my sightseeing adventures! March 18, 2015
