Shorts make for Hippos
I just received this shorts & I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I read the reviews which suggested you should buy a size larger then you usually wear - BIG MISTAKE! I could have bought a size smaller & they still might have been too large. I don't know if they changed the sizing since the reviews came in or what. I really like the shorts & the material, but by the time I return them for another size or two the cost of the postage will exceed the cost of the shorts. Too bad they could have been nice for summer, but not meant to be, I guess.

Great Shorts
Really like these shorts. They are very light weight and comfortable.

Perfect at one size up
I ordered size 8 and had to return the shorts for size 10 which was perfect for measurements of 29" waist, 36" hips, 128lbs. and 5'4" height. At one size larger it was especially comfortable, no tightness in the crotch. The material has a smooth feel and is of good quality. I also ordered the pants and they fit comfortably in my usual travelsmith size small/size 8.

odd fit, not flattering
I was looking forward to these shorts, but they were only a disappointment. The fit is off -- too tight in the elastic in the back, then baggy over the stomach/front area and not flexible in the legs. So uncomfortable that I am returning them.

Get a larger size
These are extremely well made. However, they run very, very small. I will be sending them back for a larger size - maybe 2 sizes larger, as I don't like my casual shorts real tight. Recommended for quality - but beware of size!

Short in the stride
I purchased the Craghopper pants and found them to be very roomy (with a belt for tightening the waist), so I changed my order for the shorts to go down one size. Big mistake. They are not cut anything like the pants. They are much more fitted and short through the seat. These shorts would not be comfortable for walking or hiking like the pants. If you order both, go down one size on the pants, but not on the shorts. Quality materials are used, and they are well made; but run small.
