I've got booty so they fit great!
I really like the material of these. They do run large but if you have a bit of a rear end these will fit. Keepers for me. They will be great for hiking and running around town.

Size runs large
The pants seem to be made well, but are very large. I am a size 16 - normally around 44 to 46 in rear, these measure 52 inches. I plan to exchange for a smaller size, but wanted to give measurements for those ordering

Love, love, love these pants!
I followed the recommendation of sizing down on these pants and am thrilled with the fit. They are the most comfortable pant I've owned in years. The pockets are an extra plus with zippered pockets for money, credit cards etc. Can't say enough positive about these pants. Wish they were available in more colors.

great for original purpose
I ordered these pants for travel because of all the pockets. I felt the pants were way too generous until I used them for hiking since I saw they were used on hiking expeditions. I appreciated the loose fit as well as the reinforced knees as I climbed over boulders to summit Pikes Peak.

Made for curvy figures
I ordered down a size, as instructed, so what I got fits reasonably well in the hips and thighs. I'm OK with the high waist, because I'm in my 40s and grew up with styles like that. However, I do not have an hour-glass figure, which is what these pants seem to be cut for. The waist is uncomfortably snug, even though the rest fits. I wear them for yard work and walking the dog, but not for all-day activities. They just wouldn't be comfortable to wear all day. That means they're not part of my travel wardrobe. Otherwise, I like them a lot and wish I could enjoy wearing them more.

Not designed for the average woman's figure
As much as I need some 'deployment' type pants and wanted to love these pants, they just aren't designed to fit the average woman's shape. There is too much 'junk in the front' acerage in these pants. I mean, I need a place to put my multitool, but that wasn't where I was thinking of putting it. The manufacturer needs to go back to the patternmakers, do some prototypes, and reintroduce the product for women.

Love the pockets
If you just order down one size these are great pants. Love all the pockets - zippered pocket inside front pocket for credit card, key, etc; cargo pocket with inner pocket for cell phone. The material is nice and wears well with no wrinkling. I love the pants!!

Too Big Too heavy
I really wanted these pants because they sit at the waist. My size 12 were about 6 - 8 inches too long and very very full everywhere else. When I purchased them, the warning about the sizing was not yet on the site. Additionally I wanted them for a summer trip but the fabric although a very nice quality, was very heavy for warm weather.
I have returned them.
