Men's Craghoppers Kiwi Pants 4.1 5 35 35
Forever Pants Great pants! Had a problem with a security pocket and Travel Smith Replaced immediately. Love these pants. Have 3 pairs - wear them daily. Shed stains and wear like iron so far. October 14, 2014
Runs large, new yet I read all the reviews about the product but still ordered the next size up, thinking the elastic side panels and belt would be OK. They are for now. The length I ordered was 29 " inseam. I needed to have them shorted two inches. Before the tailor hemmed the pants, she measured the inseam and it was 28". The extra length comes from the rise. It still cost an extra $18.00. October 9, 2014
A repeat buy This is my second pair of Craghoppers, and probably not my last. Excellent product; and the belt buckle seems improved. October 12, 2014
Great all-around pants for inspections I live and work in SE Florida where it is hot and humid, and my job takes me to all kinds of industrial properties and overgrown land. These are NOT cool pants - in fact, my legs are often uncomfortable a few minutes after hiking around in the sun with a high heat/humidity index. The tag actually claims that these pants will keep your legs warm. However, they feel much better than jeans because they dry quickly and are very durable - no snags or tears. When they dry, they're back to a normal feel - never clammy or "out of shape." Darker colors always look new even with an inevitable grease mark or two, though of course a lighter color is a dirt-magnet in my business #I don't know how an industrial grease stain would wash out#. I need to look professional, but I also need pockets. I am right handed, and the cargo pocket is on the right side. Inside the cargo pocket is another smaller one with an elastic top, which can be tricky to master. When on an inspection I place my car keys in the zippered inside-hand pocket, my oversize Galaxy Note 3 in the cargo pocket, and my small point-and-shoot camera in the cargo inside pocket. This leaves the right and left hand-pockets free, and the left zippered inside-pocket free was well. I wish the hand pockets were deeper. My Galaxy Note 3, a little over 5" with its Otter Box, peeks out and I don't trust it with anything like a wallet that can fall out. I'm a Manhattan front-pocket wallet guy, but these zippered rear pockets are easy to get used to. Sizing is true. A 31" inseam is a "regular" and fits 30-31" well but would be close to high-water for someone who usually wears 32". So, I purchased two of these for days in the field and they suit me perfectly. I would not change a thing. October 10, 2014
Good but significant problem I loved these pants until I did some serious hiking in them. Both these Craghopper long pants and Craghopper shorts have VERY low crotches, at least 2 inches lower (measured waistband to lowest point in crotch) than any other pants that I own (e.g., Levi's, slacks, other hiking pants). The problem occurs when lifting one leg, such as when hiking up/down hills, climbing over low objects, rocks, stiles, etc. When one leg is lifted, the low crotch significantly restricts the movement of the leg. Very sadly I don't think I'll be using these pants for anything other than walking on flat surfaces, and won't be purchasing any more. September 14, 2014
Not appropriate for travel The front pockets of these "travel" pants are very shallow, and anything from combs to keys to MONEY, and anything else is likely to fall out when seated. Well designed travel clothing has deep pockets and a number of them zipper secured. Not recommended... September 15, 2014
High Hopes But Disappointed Many things about these pants are terrific: multiple pockets, some of which are zippered; elastic at the waist that tightens up the generous fit; water repellency; and so on. The problems are these: (1) The color I purchased, labeled "bark brown," isn't remotely true. The actual color is somewhere between grey and green. (2) The inseam I purchased, 29 inches, is true in a literal sense, but the cut of the pants is such that they are about two inches longer than the inseam dimension suggests. (3) The one cargo pocket is very large and located on the right leg, which makes the pants lopsided. (4) The material is very thin and crinkly, which creates a sloppy look, resembling pajamas rather than trousers. August 12, 2014
Great Pants Saw these and I was looking for a light weight yet rugged pair of pants for a trip to Ireland. I received them and they are as advertised with lots of pockets and very comfortable. I'm slightly slim built for someone 6'1" and they will fit someone with a heavier build, I ordered the 33" inseam as I usually wear 32" and it is 34" or longer so you should order the 31" as it will probably be at least 32". They are great pants. August 20, 2014
