Double-Collar Raincoat 4.7 5 7 7
Very Happy Great jacket, it was just what I was looking for. The description of the jacket provided by Travel Smith is true and exact. I love it. October 16, 2014
Happy with my coat When I tried on my coat it was large in the chest area but could work. After speaking to a gal at Travel Smith, I decided to exchange it for a small instead of a medium and I am so glad I did because the small fits perfictly even with a sweater under neath. Being 5'6" and weighing 128, I like roomy but not sloppy big and this coat fits the bill. October 7, 2014
The coat is lightweight and fit well. The only recommendation is to have another sleeve snap or inner sleeve with elastic so rain doesn't get up inside the sleeve. September 17, 2014
Happy with coat I bought the raincoat to take on a European river cruise coming up in October, and it is just what I wanted. It is lightweight and will pack compactly but provides some warmth even without the lining. It fits well and is roomy enough to go over a light jacket or sweater. It has some nice features like the inside zip pockets, an adjustable band on the sleeves and a zipper which zips both up ad down. The hood is large enough to cover my head if needed. It would be helpful to include the exact length of the regular and petite sizes in the description. I am 5'4", and the medium petite falls a little above my knee. September 13, 2014
Folds small, drapes well I love this raincoat! Sorry I didn't buy the liner too as Northern Europe can get chilly in late September, early October. I did opt for the large, even though I'm a 10-12, to allow room for a sweater beneath it. September 12, 2014
Nice Raincoat Nice fabric that should travel well. Sleeves were a little long for me but they cuff easily enough. Fabric doesn't take up much room in suitcase and still drapes well. A jacket or sweater could be worn underneath without any binding. I picked the color Stone because it was neutral but it is a little bland. Very pleased with product. September 4, 2014
Happy with this purchase I ordered the small and it seems to fit just right. I am 5'4" and about 124 lbs.... length comes to just above knee. I tried to buy the sale version in petite but it was so very short so returned that one- at least about eight inches shorter than this and sleeves also too short...... so had to pay "full boat" for the regular small. I love the fabric - it is so soft. Other reviews (on other style numbers but the same coat) said it needed to be washed first since the red color transferred. I rubbed it against a white cloth and noticed nothing at all... but, to be safe - washed and dryed it anyway as directed. Came out so well - looks same as new and almost no wrinkles. Other reviews said the coat ran very large - I do not agree. I tried it on over a summer blouse that is thin, I plan to use the coat on a trip to Europe in October and thought the liner might be useful - but now that I own the coat, I am not going to order the liner - I think that would make it too tight to fit over bulkier fall clothing that I might wear under it like a sweater.... . Outerwear needs to be a bit looser if it is to be practical. I've been looking and looking for a great travel raincoat. I also own a very nice Burberry coat with liner that costs about six times what this one cost and I don't want to take it on a trip with me. That one is black and shows a lot of lint and fuzz and can actually be annoying. I actually like this fabric better for travel purposes. Also, hood is ample and just right and the inside zipper compartments may come in handy. The zippers seem very nice and work well. There is a trick to zipping a coat like this that I learned from and LL Bean salesperson in one of their stores. When you are holding the zipper before you try to zip it up and after you have inserted the long piece into the other side.... hold it by the fabric just next to the zipper and without you fingers actually touching the zipper - this keeps it straight and allows it to zip up. Don't ask me why this works, it just does. July 15, 2014
