Elastic-Back Denim Pants 4.3 5 30 30
The denim pants I have been looking for! First of all these pants are pricey at $79 and are somewhat reasonable at $59. If you are looking for a bargain on these pants then $59 is about it. If you want a real bargain on cheaply made pants go some where else. If you really want quality pants that look good and keep their look traveling then these are the pants. I wore them for a 5 day trip to Las Vegas to see my granddaughters and on the flight out to see them spilled a glass of wine on them, you could not tell. They were cleaned and then wore them for 5 days in 100 + degree heat and they kept their good looks. Liked them so much I bought a second pair. Which I will be taking for another 30 day trip to the west coast. I would recommend to anyone who buys these pants and need hemming have them altered by travelsmith. Also I have tried them with and with out a cuffs. Have them cuffed, they will look much better. As for the fit they are sized a little larger then what you would expect and the comfort waist is great for comfort while traveling and guys who's waist expands and shrinks. Great pants you shouldn't be disappointed. September 6, 2013
Great travel wear These slacks are the most comfortable denim slacks I've ever worn. They're not like work denims - they have a nice soft touch - deep pockets and a couple of security features - pleated front - all of which is good for the traveler. September 17, 2014
Disappointed I purchased these particular Denim pants because TravelSmith offered a service to hem their length. I wear a 31" length pant, and never find this size available. So I usually purchase my jeans in 32" and then go around with them bagging. As these denims were for nicer occasions, I was delighted to learn I could have these hemmed for a reasonable price. So I was absolutely dismayed when these arrived and are far too long for me. I should return them to Travel Smith, but I have been so disappointed that I lack the energy to do this September 5, 2014
not great These pants have very poor quality denim. They have absolutely no body and the drape is awful. The workmanship is not what I think is up to TravelSmith quality.. the tailoring is skimpy. August 22, 2014
elastic-back denin pants Not informed that these pants are a long inseam. Assumed them to be a regular inseam length. Thus they have a baggy fit. Would have returned this item except the length had been purchased hemmed. July 16, 2014
Great pair of travel jeans This purchase was for a replacement pair of the same jeans that I have simply worn out traveling. The new pair of stretch jeans with a security zip pocket and a split holder in the bottom of the right pocket is perfect for traveling. I haven't had them two weeks and they have already traveled and flown on me for 8,000+ miles. They wash and dry with no problem. The waist size and the custom length were perfect. Too bad for TravelSmith that they are so durable and comfortable. I will buy another pair when these wear out but it it going to be a some time. Thanks Travelsmith! July 16, 2010
Good Buy Elastic in waist makes these so comfortable. Fabric not harsh & stiff. Very nice appearance & come out of laundry looking great. Would definitely buy again (and will, in different colors). Caveat: would have liked to have them hemmed to my exact length. Ordering an inch longer to meet Travel Smith's specific hem lengths meant they look sloppy. I will now have to pay a tailor to re-hem them to correct length. Will ask for them shipped unhemmed, next time. March 26, 2010
Very nice jeans I have purchased several of these jeans over the last couple of years. I have yet to actually wear a pair out. I did tear a hole in one pair on a very large rose bush thorn. They fade slowly, the material gets thinner, they fit a little looser, but hold together very well. I just use them for more casual days as they age. The only problem I have had is that the buttons fall off very quickly. Once re-sewn, that problem is fixed. June 14, 2010
