Large Coverlugg 2.8 5 5 5
Saved My New Luggage The Coverlugg does fit like a girdle. I used it on my new 30" Samsonite suitcase for a trip to Europe. My suitcase went to Frankfurt instead of Brussels. When I received it later that day the Coverlugg had moved up the suitcase but was still on it after all the extra handling. I just wish I had bought one for my carryon bag when I had to check it at the jetway for the smaller planes because it was scuffed. The carryon was also very muddy from the handling at the riverboat because the crew would not allow me to carry it myself. The large suitcase with the Coverlugg was not muddy. By the time we returned home, my friend's one-year old suitcase was nasty and frayed. That was only the second time she had used that suitcase. Mine looked like new when I took off the Coverlugg. I will definitely put the small Coverlugg on my Christmas list. September 11, 2012
I wanted to love you but... If I'd written this last March while traveling through Italy, I would've given it a great review. But on my next trip (domestic) I happened to be seated where I could see baggage getting loaded and noticed baggage handles struggling with the cover to get it back on the bag. Kudos to them for trying, because it can be difficult. But on the next leg I wasn't so lucky, and it arrived at baggage claim without the Coverlugg. I have Rimowa luggage and I loved the idea of it for protecting my investment, making my bag instantly identifiable, and felt I had a bit more security. But I can't justify buying a replacement every 4-6 flights. Too bad Coverlugg, I really wanted to love you. August 17, 2013
Remember Girdles That Don't Fit? I wished I had seen the size printed on the box before ordering. The box says this will fit MOST checked luggage with dimensions of 25"-30". I have a 25" bag, it wouldn't fit, my sister and couldn't get any part of it over the top of bag ( not packed). I then tried another 25 inch bag, it would go over it, but it (cover) was too small (around) to go over the reinforcements at bootm of luggage. It's going back When you think about it, would TSA inspectors bother with trying to get it back on said piesce of luggage...I think not. Remember girdles that don't fit? Yep. Both pieces of luggage have the expandable zipper, as mentioned Luggage was not packed and all zippers were zipped. July 25, 2012
Took my suit case overseas and the coverlugg almost came off everytime I received it. When I got back to DFW airport it came off and a friend noticed it and told the attendant. He put it back on but when I got to my destination it was gone. Was very disapointed because I liked it and it was easy to recognize. November 19, 2012
Love my coverlugg! Love the way this cover protects my bag and its zippers. Also gives added support because of girdle effect. And i never worry abour someone grabbing it accidentally. I have the large which fits both my 25 and 27 inch bags. Habe recommended to numerous people. As a 100,000 mile plus a year flyer..this really helps keep my bags clean. October 20, 2012
