Long-Sleeved Hemisphere Shirt 4.2 5 31 33
This shirt is of excellent quality and fit. It's lightweight and packs very economically. It's the fourth one I've purchased. Just great for travel. September 17, 2014
Deep Pocket top is too narrow First of all let me say that this is a great travel shirt. With all of the pockets I have a separate places for my pens (for customs forms), ear phones, passport, pills. I tend to lose things and now I know where everything is. I use a travel wallet (4 1/2" by 9") to keep my critical papers: passport, yellow fever certificate, vouchers, boarding pass, credit card, etc. It fits just fine in the large interior pocket. That is, if you can get it in. The pocket width at the top (the shirt part, not the pocket pouch itself) is too narrow. You have to bend the wallet to get it in. I checked on several wallets and all of them have this same problem. My solution was to have a tailor widen the pocket top. At first they said it was too difficult, but it turned out fine. But it cost me an extra $20. December 18, 2013
Good if You Are Overweight PROS: Nice design, nice fabric (a bit on the heavy side), shoulders neck and arm length of the Large-Long are fine. CONS: I am 6'4" 195 lb in good shape. In order to feel comfortable in the more than generous fit of the shirt body I suspect I'd need to weigh in the estimated vicinity of 250 lbs. Since there is no Medium-Tall size I've returned the shirt with no exchange. July 12, 2014
Full of wrinkles, not a buy I purchased this shirt to take on a 10 day business trip to Japan. Shirt came in from seller in a wrinkled mess. I washed the shirt and dried per the instructions. It came out of the dryer even more wrikled. I left the shirt at home, but have tried to wear it after ironing it. After two hours of wear time , it began to wrinkle up, not a shirt for business nor pleasure. Will assign this shirt to cut the grass and weed the flower bed in. October 12, 2010
Needs to be Ironed I was surprised that after washing the shirt that it needed to be ironed to wear. I like it once it is ironed, but I really thought that a travel shirt should be able to be worn without absolutely having to be ironed. That is disappointing. October 16, 2010
MY NEW FAVORITE SHIRT I own too many shirts. Never get rid of the old ones, but for some reason I just had to have this one too...and it was on sale. Turns out I made the right choice. This may be the finest shirt I have ever owned. If not the finest, it's certainly now my favorite after just one wearing......wore it to the Alamo, a bucket list destination for me. The material feels like gossamer. Soft and smooth. Way, way better feeling than silk. Love the pockets too. Hope it goes on sale again; I'd buy a couple more. Expensive but worth it!! April 12, 2013
sent the shirt out for commercial washing and pressing as I do with all new shirts. The laundry found it impossible to properly press the pocket areas. May 13, 2014
Watch out for Stains I purchased two of these shirts for a trip to Ireland. I don't have the wrinkle issues that other reviewers have mentioned. The shirts pack well and wrinkles fall out easily. My problem is with staining. Both of these shirts stain instantly if anything falls on them. Stains cannot be blotted out on site and will not easily wash out. Even simple stains (think ketsup) which wash out of cotten garments easily, require multiple pre-treatments and washings to get out of these shitrs. Travelsmith, fix this issue ant these get five stars accross the board! May 18, 2012
