Men's Anywhere Pants 4 5 33 33
the seems are puckerd and the legs dosnt hang well April 3, 2014
Great, BUT Love the style and fit, BUT one serious shortcoming- the buttonholes are too small (or the buttons are too big) buttoning and un-buttoning is a chore! March 30, 2014
Love these pants My only complaint is that the old sizing (pre 2007) fit me better. Now the large is too big and the medium is rather tight. Medium used to fit me perfectly. Would be nice if these pants had belt loops. I wear them with un-tucked shirts most of the time (to hide the elastic waist). I bought my first pair of these in about 1998 for cross country skiing. Then started wearing them for travel and now wear them every day. These pants keep you cool when it's hot and dry quickly in cold wet weather. I still wear them for cross country skiing with only briefs under them down to about 10 degrees fahrenheit. At lower temps, I add some light weight long underwear. I dislike pants that are too warm. These pants keep me cooler than any other long pants (even the "charcoal" color in direct sunlight). And I think they look great with un-tucked straight-hem shirts. April 28, 2013
Great Pants - Please Don't Discontinue Them! The Anywhere Pants - both the nylon supplex and the cotton version are the best pants I've owned. Travel Smith seems to have already discontinued the Cotton Anywhere Pants and is in the process of discontinuing the nylon version. Travel Smith - Please keep both the cotton and nylon versions of the Anywhere Pants! Thank you! Chris March 8, 2011
Most Versatile Pants I Own! Men's Anywhere Pants: Just bought my 5th pair, not because the other's have worn out (I still have them all), but because i like them so much I want to stock up in case they are discontinued! These go on sale occasionally and are a great value, then. I wear these almost daily, for walking, camping, hiking, exercising. I used to rock climb, these would make a great climbing pants with the gusseted crotch. I take a pair EVERYWHERE that I travel. In hot weather they are cool, in cold weather they stop wind, but are highly breathable (not clammy), they dry FAST when wet, they block mosquitoes (no chemical coating, the fabric weave simply block's penetration) and the supplex wears like iron. Soft and comfortable, nice drape and fabric weight, cloth-like feel (not plastic), quiet fabric, even in sub-zero weather. true-to-size. They are VERY casual, so not "business casual" and certainly not dressy, but are OK for going out in. Security zip pocket is a great feature. The ONLY negative is the elastic waist is functional but a little too casual, wish if had a finished (belt-like) waistband. Throw on an untucked shirt and no one will know, though.) But, I love these pants! Most versatile pants that I own! As I say, I wear them almost every day. Have had the crotch seams repaired by a tailor on my oldest pair (at least 7 years old!), the repair was inexpensive and worth it. Also had a rip on one repaired (tailor), caused by my own negligence, no fault of the pants. So, can be repaired at nominal cost by a tailor. BUY THESE, especially if you are active or travel! needed improvements Good that you have this product back , BUT, -Pants need belt loops for a real belt. -The new buckle is weak and will open under a strain. I would return them for this reason , but i need them in spite of this issue. Just limits their usefulness. Needs a 2nd back pocket. October 5, 2011
My Only Pants I've been wearing these for at least 15 years now. They're the only pants I wear, although I also have a couple pairs of the zip-offs. I'm really glad TravelSmith is binging back both the blue and sand colors this spring. November 20, 2013
Sloppy My husband buys a lot of TravelSmith pants, and wears them all the time. While he likes them (though they always have to be shortened), I have to admit that I'm sick of them. Sure they're comfy, but with all that baggy microfiber stuff he walks around looking like a "sad sack.". Everything is loose. Don't be misled into thinking you'll look sharp in these clothes. This is my first step in going about telling him how awful he looks in these clothes. Wear them on the plane or in the middle of the Serengeti, but please stop wearing them out to dinner. May 5, 2012
