Microfleece Travel Blanket 2.3 5 9 9
Child sized blanket The blanket was too short. The material was soft and it was warm but it was too short for an adult. I returned the blankets for something else. Disappointed because having the attached pouch seemed ideal for traveling. December 20, 2013
Not as Expected I purchased 3 of these blankets for a trip to Europe this coming summer with my mom and sister. I need a blanket to snuggle under on a plane before I can sleep comfortably. Since sleep on our trans Atlantic flight is critical (Paris, here we come) I thought these would do well. Unfortunately, the micro fleece is bulky feeling and REALLY hard to get back in its attached pouch. You'd have no choice but to carry it open off the plane and then find somewhere to lay it on the ground to get it back into the pouch. FYI - microfleece sticks to itself! Folding and stuffing not a simple feat. I returned all 3 and am replacing them with Coolmax that has better reviews and sounds to be much more user-friendly. Thank goodness Travelsmith has such a great return policy as I bought these in August and never opened them until the end of December when my sister visited. January 9, 2013
Bulky, un manageable This blanket is very hard to fold-, sitting in a cramped airplane would make it impossible to refold into the pouch. You need to make a light weight warm blanket that is large enough and long enough that quickly re folds into a compact small bag with a drawstring that you is self attached to blanket so it won't get lost and can be attached to your carry on that doesn't cost too much- a lot to ask I know ;:-) October 22, 2013
Cozy and soft Bought this for a trip to Ireland which is coming up but have used it when the a/c got a little too cool at home. Think I am going to use it more than on trips. May 15, 2013
Warm But Impossible The concept of having a built in pouch is brilliant. The designer must have been a rocket scientist, but did he/ she try re-fold the blanket into the pouch after use on the plane? The material is soft and warm and washes nice, but it is really bulky for travel. January 14, 2013
Great for long trips We really liked the warmth on our long flight. The only difficulty was refolding the blanket into it's own pouch. Very challenging! There must be an easy way but it was lost on us???? July 23, 2013
Travel blanket Very difficult to insert blanket into its travel pouch. Foot pocket is too small for most men. July 16, 2013
big for travel, small for coverage I see now why this blanket is on sale. As a carryon travel item, the blanket in its pouch is very big; for coverage as a blanket, the blanket is small. Also, I did not realize from the description that the zippered pouch is part of the blanket, not a removable sack. The quality of the blanket material seems fine. I bought several for presents and will return them; I will keep the one I opened for use around the house. I wish I had bought the CoolMax Travel Blanket instead. December 14, 2012
