Packable Down Sweater

Love it!
I bought this sweater/jacket on sale and felt the price was right. It is versatile, lightweight, yet warm. On rainy, extra cold days I layer it with a waterproof hooded jacket. I bought the spice red and the color is as expected. Perfect for around town and travel.

Delighted
I have had my eye on this sweater and will admit that I waited for it to go on sale. I am very happy with it. I wear it for brisk morning walks here in WI in the winter and it is ideal for cool homes. I love down things, for they keep us warm but don't make us hot and sweaty. Several of my friends have bought one now after seeing mine. Just a hint to you all when you wash down articles: you need to let them dry completely and then shake them well. They will puff up like new then.

Color not as pictured
I'll start by saying that this jacket is very comfortable. I am 5'4" and around 120. A small usually works for me but I had to get the medium. It fits fine, so I am saying they run small. Now for the color. If you want a white white, like printer paper, mine was not that color. It was an off white, almost a very pale yellow. I have ordered white down outerwear before and gotten the expected shade in the clothing world. In fact, I bought a white down vest to layer over this coat. They don't match. If color is not your priority with this jacket, go for it, it's not too puffy, yet keeps you warm. It also looks good on. From that point of view, I recommend it.
If the color had been true, I would have given this item 5 stars. I was really looking forward to it being what I expected, so I lowered the stars.

I purchased this jacket in the white. I love the fit and color and looks. However, because it is white, it shows soil quite easily. I washed it following jacket directions, but I was disappointed to discover that the down had all collected in the corners of the stitched sections. The down dried very slowly! Once the down had dried completely, I was able to spread it back out with a bit of effort. Unfortunately, this makes it not a wash & go jacket. However, I would order it again, even knowing that I will have to work to get it looking "normal" again. I do love the jacket.

It really will be perfect for travel!
I love this jacket! So light and comfortable yet warm - perfect for variable weather while on a trip. I was fine wearing it in 45 degree breezy Chicago weather with just a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. I'm 5 ft tall and 110 lbs and I have plenty of room in the size S and can wear a thick sweater underneath if needed. Sleeve length is perfect for me, but I can see how they can be a little short on a taller person. It rolls up and slips into pouch quite easily.

Great Buy on Sale!
I bought this in Black Cherry and it is more a purplish color than what I anticipated but very nice. Fits true to size, and has a tailored feel as it is close fitting but not tight on the body. I got a large for 14-16 and it is a perfect fit. Sleeves the right length, 2 front zipper pockets and two inside open pockets. Wore it over cashmere turtleneck in 40 degree weather and very comfortable and lightweight. Scrunches up into tiny stuff sack which will be great for using as a neck pillow on the plane. I have gone to carry on only for air travel and this is a perfect jacket to take along. Am going to get another one since it is on sale now for $69.I have never seen anything similar anywhere else. I wish also it were in brown tones.

Excellent Jacket
I bought this jacket in the Black Cherry and loved it so much I just ordered one in white at the sale price. The jacket is very light weightweight but suprisingly warm. I agree with the reviewers who thought the jacket ran small so I ordered one size up. Now I have room to layer with a heavier sweater. If this isn't something you'll be doing ordering your regular size would probably work.
Packs up really small in its own pouch and shakes out looking perfect.

Wonderful sweater-jacket
I love this sweater/light jacket. Cozy by itself, but a great layering piece. A sweater or heavy shirt under it makes it great for temperatures down into the 30's, and it will go under a heavy coat if it's really cold. I'm about a size 8, and the S will allow for over a sweater, under a coat, or looks great stand-alone.
