xSmall too small; Small way too big
Unfortunately, I had the same experience as some other writers; something is wrong with the sizing. I measured my head (I liked that detail) and ordered the Small. It was swimming. So I ordered the extra Small and tight as a drum, I can feel the blood in my head and since I'm going to a tropical country, my head will expand in the heat but not enough to fit the Small. Both are going back to TravelSmith. I really like the style and the quality, but there is something wrong in the sizing of the Small.

Paper Panama Hat
I am a hat person, so was very disappointed that I didn't like this hat. First of all, I did measure my head and this hat in a M was uncomfortablely tight. Secondly, if felt like paper, and thirdly this hat with the extremely high crown looked stupid on me. It is going back with regret.

Beautiful hat
This hat is comfortable, protects my face from the sun and the glare, easily packable and reforms nicely, well-made. I followed the sizing guide (inches given for each size) and it is true to size. The hat breathes which is so important here in the subtropics.

Pretty, Practical, Packable
I bought this hat over four years ago and have taken it on many trips. It is very pretty, gives you a polished look so looks nice in cities as well as riding elephants and rafting down rivers. Having the neck strap is important to me for windy situations. It is light and the ventilation helps keep your head cool. It does roll to pack but after all the trips the hat is looking a bit creased now. I plan to order a new one, but in a smaller size as my current hat is a tad too big, gives me the Annie Hall look. Be sure and measure your head before ordering.

Great Hat
This is one great hat.I have 2 and am considering getting a third. They roll up easily to put in a tote bag and they look great when you put them on. And the tie makes this the perfect choice for a windy day, even on the boat! Couldn't live without them!
