Practical and functional
I've been using the lock for one year. Dozens of international trips. No key to lose (card fit into wallet well) and no combination to remember or try to see in dark conditions. Opened by TSA multiple times, no problems. Handy to lock bags in room also.

Bent lock
I bought two of these locks, and the one on my husband's luggage bent and had to be cut off upon arrival at our first destination. I don't know if that was the fault of the lock or of the rough handling by baggage handlers, but nothing else seemed damaged except for the lock. We were surprised that something so small could be bent so badly, but no amount of trying would unlock it. My lock remained intact and useful for the duration of the trip, and we were glad to have it in rooms where there were no safes.
