Compact and easy to operate
Looking forward to having this as a back up when I take my cruise in a few weeks. It will come in handy when I need to charge my phone or camera.

Just what I need it
I haven't had too many chances of using it on the road yet, but I tried at home and charged my phone and ipod a couple of times, I has many tips for different use, which is great. I'll be going to Europe with three (THREE!) teens, and I figured I will need extra help recharging everything every night, this item will help us if we can't.

Great Product
I am surprised by the reviews of this product especially the ones that claim it doesn't charge the IPOD touch. I have owned this product for 2 or 3 years and I am purchasing another one while they are on sale. It has always worked great on my Ipod touch, my iphone, my Ereader and my Camera.

A big let down
I can't believe it has the Ipod logo but doesn't support the iphone charging capability. If such an attachment is available then please let me know. To spend this money and find out I can't charge my iphone is pathetic

Wouldn't do it again
I bought this item to take on a cruise for my Motorola Atrix. The connection supplied worked for my husband's iPhone but did not work on mine so I had to spend more to get another connection. The monkey worked great, although it didn't hold as much charge as advertised, but it did get me through the day. For that I would have given 4 stars, but now home, it seems to have a short. I have to hold the monkey just so to get it to charge. (Not my phone as it is the same on all phones). I no longer have the box, so this no questions guarantee doesn't work for me. I'm just out the money.

Worked fine
I wanted this power monkey as a back up for my smart phone after a long cruise in case I ran out of power on the trip home. It worked fine. I had made sure it was at full power before I left home and I was very impressed with all the accessories that came with it. I can't say how it works with ipods, ipads, etc. but for a basic smart phone, on-the-go charge, it worked fine. Not the cheapest gadget around and others may work better, but as an easy to carry charger, it did what it was supposed to do.

I was extremely disappointed in this purchase. I was unable to use it on my trip, power ran out on my appliances. This was a waste of my money, totally.

Disappointed
I am really disappointed in this product. I used it to recharge a Kindle Fire I was using to play Words with Friends. The recharge lasted about 20-30 minutes and I expected much more for my money. I am doubly disappointed because I also bought a second monkey as a gift and now I am too embarrassed to give it! As a company, I really like Travel Smith, but this item is not worthy of them.
