Poor Construction
My husband bought this jacket for our upcoming trip to Italy. Luckily he wore it off-and-on for a month before we traveled. Due to poor sewing, there's a hole in a pocket seam (which was very skimpy) and the cord in the hem meant for cinching the jacket tight, which he never tightened, broke. The jacket is going back which is sad because it was perfect in style and function (why I gave it a "2"). For $169.00 we are not willing to put up with defects in a month, though.

Very nice parka!
This is a very nice parka, well made, great product, worked well for our recent trip to London. Packs easily - no problems with wrinkles.

Good For Vacation and Home
My wife and I each bought the rain parka and are very satisfied. It's lightweight, breathable and looks good with a variety of outfits.
I recommend it.

Good Travel Raincoat
I just got this coat and took it to Europe for two very rainy and cold weeks. I was happy with the sizing - I have long arms and find that sleeves are often too short with SML sizing, but this one was fine. The coat is roomy (big), but that means room for lots of layers under. It is warmer than many shells, a plus. Inside pockets are so secure it is hard to use them - bigger zip tabs would help. Also an outside map pocket would be nice. Stupid buttons on the hood strings make it almost impossible to secure the hood when you're out in the rain, limiting its usefulness considerably - it needs strings you can pull shut and tie, as well as a brim that extends out in the front. Construction and packability are tops. Conclusion - very nice coat that could easily be much better with a little more thought.

It looks great on and should be quite funcationaly. This was bought as a gift.
