Great purchase!
I do not enjoy shopping so purchasing online is wonderful for me. I normally take a size 2 or 4 so I can not buy a lot from TravelSmith. But the few things I have bought I have been extremely happy with. This Jacket runs a bit small but since I take an extra small, this fits me perfectly. It is made very well with a lot of extra details that you don't often find in a jacket this reasonably priced. I bought a lighter wieght jacket back in 2007 & I have worn it to death & it still looks like new! No wrinkles & washes like a dream. If this jacket gives me half the wear as the one I purchased in 2007 I will be thrilled. The customer service is beyond words! Extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Keep up the great work!

Appreciate the reviews
I just bought this jacket and ordered it one size larger than what I wear. Thanks to the reviews! It's a really nice jacket, but it does indeed run small. I can't attest to its warmth yet because it's August but it feels cuddly. I did launder it and hung it up to dry and everything seems fine. So if you're thinking of buying it, definitely go up one size!

Wish it came in Petite!
Really like this jacket, but sleeves are too long - so will sadly send it back. Cute styling, like the detachable hood and quilted lining to add some warmth without a lot of bulk. Nice mid-weight jacket for days when a down coat is too much.

great travel coat
I recently bought this coat in the winter white color for a 17 day trip to Israel and Rome, Italy. I was very pleased with it and got a lot of compliments on it. It packed easily in my suitcase while not taking up much room. I also bought the shawl that is shown with it and got lots of compliments on it also!

Great for Texas
This anorak is exceptionally warm for its weight. It is perfect for most of our colder days here in NE Texas. Only during our recent snows and unusually cold days have I reached for a heavier coat. I have not worn it in rain yet, so I cannot attest to its rain resistance. I caught it on sale at a bargain price for such quality.

I like it
It is very attractive and well made. The only thing I don't like is I can't wear very warm clothes under it because then it feels too small. I will wear it on warmer days. If I bought another one I would go up a size.

The hood is a problem, no way to secure it, the side pockets are too small with gloves on. The fabric is great and the fit is great. I got this jacket for an extremely low price so the value is good. It's not quite as warm as I had hoped. I wear this jacket in 20 degree weather and need at least two layers underneath.

Good choice for mild winter days.
This jacket was perfect for my trip to the northwest in December. It is not a heavy duty winter garment but works well when worn with a warm sweater underneath. I would definately buy it again!
