Self-Inflating Seat Cushion 4.3 5 9 9
great comfort on long and short air flights I have used this seat cushion for several years on flights over the Pacific ocean. It is wonderful. Lifts and cushions enough to make a 9 to16 hour flight comfortable When I recently forgot it on a flight that stopped in HKG, I ordered a replacement the same day. Perfect for a person sized 5'6" 160 lbs. Highly recommended December 23, 2014
Great for loing flights We both used this cushion on long flights from the midwest to SE Asia. Great support for tush and back of the thighs. Fifteen hours on a plane is never really fun, but these cushions made it bearable. December 16, 2012
Beware leaks Purchased for in international flight, but it had a slow leak that made it useless. I now have a replacement that I'm hoping will last for the return flight. November 5, 2014
Great cushion! After trying a few different brands and styles of cushions without success, I tried this one. It works well for me both on the plane and at home. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one. Now I can take one in the car or plane and have one at home too. I have read many reviews on the various cushions I have tried. I learned that cushions can be perfect for one person and not for another. I believe the reason this one is comfortable to me is because of the air valve control. I can just fiddle with it and adjust the amount of air inside until it feels just right and relieves pressure on my tailbone. I open the valve, it fills with air, and I screw the valve closed. Then I sit on it and center my body. Next I open the valve and begin to let air out until it feels comfortable. This takes only a couple minutes. During the flight and after sitting a long time, if I begin to feel uncomfortable, I will open the valve and readjust the amount of air until it feels good again. I read in someone's review that because of pressure changes, you should wait to inflate neck cushions until after the plane reaches cruising altitude. So I did that with this seat cushion and I have had no problem with air leaks. I do not know if it makes a difference, but I figured it was worth trying as I did not want to ruin my cushion. I deflated by half while we were changing altitude to land also. It is easy to completely deflate at the end of your flight. You open the valve, lay it on your lap, and begin to roll it from the side opposite the valve. After expressing as much air as possible, screw the valve closed, put it in the mesh bag that comes with it, and tuck it in your carry-on bag. This can easily be done after landing and while waiting for them to open the door. I have had my two cushions about 6 months now and so far they have been durable. This cushion has a wipe off exterior, but no removable cover. I am thankful to finally have found the right cushion for myself. It is a great help when sitting for long periods of time. May 6, 2014
Comfort on a plane I used this first on a five hour flight. The cushion made a thin plane seat much more tolerable! Packing it back into the case is a little difficult. I suspect I need more practice! December 18, 2013
Make your airplane seat more comfortable.... ...with this adjustable inflatable cushion. Also useful for long car trips. Rolls up tightly to fit into its cover and into your hand luggage. Highly recommended. October 21, 2013
Helps sitting problems, especially for long travel times. A bit awkward carrying around the airport, so I found a carry bag with shoulder handles that makes it easy and discreet to carry around. Good quality. August 29, 2013
Saved my back My sister actually purchased this cushion, for a Europe flight and I ended up using it instead, so am now purchasing my own cushion. I have had back problems for years and have difficulty sitting for too long, due to some nerve issues, so a 9 hour flight was a scary prospect. The cushion helped tremendously--I still didn't sleep but it helped me to sit for most of the flight with some comfort. It allowed me not to fidget so much and bother others. July 10, 2014
