Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish Water Proof Jacket Great Jacket and color! Stylish. Washes and drip drys easily. The price should be less expensive. November 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hoped it had fit better I thought I'd finally found a raincoat long enough to keep me dry in a real rainstorm--my clothes still get wet in hip-length or thigh-length raincoats. This coat is a great length and appears to be well made. But I wish TravelSmith offered it in an extra small because the size small swims on my 5'2" 114 pound frame. I bought this specifically as a summer raincoat, so don't need extra space for layering. I'm disappointed that I need to return it. August 27, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good coat if you are round like a muffin I had high expectations for this raincoat. RIght out of the wrapper, I was disappointed that the microfiber was not "velvety-soft" (hardly). When I put the coat on, I could have fit two of my bodies in the coat. The coat is too billowy. If fact, this coat could fit right into maternity wear. I really wanted to like this... but alas... April 9, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sizing off I liked the fabric and have been looking for a waterproof coat with a zip-out liner to take on trips, but the size on this item is way off. I am 5'3", 130 pounds and usually wear a size 6 so I ordered the petite small. Much, much too big in the body area. Because I am a size bigger on the bottom than the top I usually find that items that fit well on the top are too snug on the bottom. I think there was room for two of me in this coat, yet the sleeves were too short. I didn't even bother trying the liner on with it. April 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality. Button sown into interior pocket making it unusable. Too loose fitting in hips. Sorry product. April 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Coat! I received the coat and liner just in time for a trip to Washington DC. Since the weather was cool one day and warmer later, this was perfect for the trip as I could use the liner or not. The coat is definitely waterproof, but it does show water spots until the water evaporates. I like the length of the coat and the fact that the liner is longer too. The liner is so attractive that I lent it to a friend to wear as an evening coat! As mentioned in another review, the style of the coat is not particularly flattering; however, it is roomy enough to wear a suit jacket or bulky sweater underneath. Even with the liner, the coat does not feel heavy. I would definitely recommend this coat. March 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Impressive! Ordered this coat because I don't like the traditional trench coat collars because I have a shorter neck, and I liked the length of this coat. I was not disappointed! The coat fits beautifully. I especially like not feeling like the collar is choking me. The coat is long, but not too long, even though I am on the shorter side of petite at barely five feet tall. Definitely a winner and one I highly recommend! March 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the quality of my first TM ShawlCollar Raincot This purchase did not come anywhere close to the one I purchased from TravelSmith in the winter of 2002 prior to a March trip to England and Scotland. That coat was absolutely waterproof, zipper closure that would allow a bottom or top vent opening. It weathered rain in our southern winters, three trips abroad including wonderful wet, foggy Bergen, Norway and was by far the best raincoat I ever owned. I stayed dry, umbrella or not. Lost it in Dec of 11 right here in my home city. Finally exhausting all Lost and Found venues I ordered the blue one in August of 2012. Upon arrival I immediately knew it was not the same quality. Waterproofing was NOT GORTEX like the first one, lowest button was too high allowing rain and cold in on windy days. The second time I wore it, the hood pull broke. I kept it because we need lined winter rain coats in Alabama and unlined in summer but am still mourning the loss of quality and hope in the future TM will do better. I'd gladly pay more for the superior design, workmanship, washability, packability etc.I had for almost 10 years. March 22, 2015
