Short-Sleeve Hemisphere Shirt 3.4 5 14 14
Too fragile for travel Last year I purchased two of these shirts for a trip to China. Before the end of our trip, I sent one to the ships laundry and it was returned with a collar button ripped off and a hole in the fabric where the button was sewn on. I chalked this up to an over aggressive laundry. The second shirt now has a hole in the fabric at the corner of the pocket flap. Since our return from China, this shirt is seldom worn. Both holes formed where there was sewing and it just seems like the fabric just can't hold up to normal wear. I liked the fit and feel but will not plan on purchasing again, nor will I recommend this shirt. February 25, 2014
somewhat disappointed The color and size are perfect - but should a travel shirt, one that was purchased for the evenings, look as if it's been slept in? I was thinking it would dry smooth, and it did not. My husband doesn't care and he likes it. I'm disappointed because it comes out of the dryer wrinkled. We will keep it, but I will be more circumspect in the future. I will specifically look for the words "does not wrinkle." April 9, 2010
Poor Travel Shirt I was thrilled when I first got this shirt for my husband . The material felt wonderful. But then I washed the shirt and it is totally wrinkled. I had hoped it would be a good travel shirt but unless you are planning to have the shirt ironed or steamed the fabric is terrible. May 9, 2011
Great design, but........... I love this shirt. Functionally, it fits all of my travel needs - comfortable, good colors/design, wrinkle free even when sink washed. Since discovering this shirt I have ordered 9. Unfortunately, they don't last. Most have frayed after 15-20 washes. Stitching unravels and bottons fall off. Initially, I thought it was just an anomoly but, the fraying and unraveling has started with the newest ones. Given the cost vs wear time I can not recommend this shirt. October 8, 2013
Longtime favorite I have many of these shirts in both long and short sleeves. I wore out my favorite chili shirt and sadly they no longer make chili. They travel great, can be hand washed, pack in little space, and are hard to wrinkle. They are very practical and look nice. They fit and feel great too. i put more than 100k miles on my chili shirt. Softest shirt I've ever owned I enjoy the softness and fit of the short-sleeve Hemisphere shirt. I have the white one and it feels especially comfortable in hot, humid weather. It does require a bit more ironing than I had expected for a traveler's shirt. December 17, 2013
Good, very comfortable shirt for the summer This short sleeve shirt is well tailored, comfortable and wrinkle free. I wear it as an everyday shirt in the summer because it has plenty of pockets and available colors go well with khaki pants and blue jeans. June 11, 2010
Short sleeves and zipper pocket Love the right deep, zipper pocket. The left pocket has vertical stitcing which divides it into two too small, near usless sections. Although the shirt color is listed as "white" in the catalogue, it definitely is NOT. Most people questioned described it as green, and I agree! July 11, 2013
