Rated 3 out of 5 by Not ideal for travel Surprised and disappointed that scarves sold by a travel company would wrinkle so easily! I bought two for an upcoming trip (wine and aubergine). The colors are beautiful and they are well made, but the fact that they hold every rumple and crease makes them impractical. February 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Elegant, Versatile, warm! This is the third pashmina wrap I've ordered from Travel Smith. These wraps are true pashminas, in that they actually contain pashmina wool; all those nylon & acrylic versions out there are simply over-sized scarves! The term "pashmina" refers to the soft, light-weight wool of the pashmina goat, not the style of scarf. These are blended with silk, as were many of those I saw in India; the price is comparable with what I paid there also. The colors are bright (I had to return the dark blue, as it is really more a bright royal blue) and long-lasting. Wrap it around your shoulders & neck for a glamorous bit of warmth, or an easy alternative to a sweater with pants or jeans. Great for travel too. Great buy! April 14, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Thin and poor quality I bought this pashmina for a wedding after reading the wonderful reviews, but I'm disappointed. The fabric is very thin, and the finished edges are already pulling apart at the fringed ends (and I haven't even put it on--that was out of the bag!) The fringe is woven from the fabric itself and appears to be quite fragile. I'm afraid to wear it because it looks so delicate at the edges, as the weave looks to be threadbare at the fringe. Don't know what I am going to do since I need it immediately. I bought three colors, but they all may go back due to the poor quality. But TS was terrific about getting them to me in time after many mixups with the order--thank you TS! September 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Should not be carried by Travelsmith Beautiful shawl. Wrinkles badly no matter how you pack it. Not heavy enough to use for warmth on plane/train. Got one star for value because it is not useful for traveling. If you want to wear it where you live and can keep it hung perfectly flat, it is an exquisite fabric with great colors. March 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The most Beautiful Pashminas I've ever had! I love your pashmina scarfs! They are longer and wider than most and have Beautiful colors and drapery! This is a very classy scarf! (Only 4 stars because they get snags easily.) But, I like them so much that I have ordered SEVERAL in different colors! This is a Luxury item and I get many compliments on them. Be careful of getting snags, however. March 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THE COLOR I ordered both the wine and silver wraps. The colors are BEAUTIFUL; very rich. To me the wine is more reddish than purplish which is perfect for what I am wearing. It is a nice weight and length. May 6, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I was hoping for Today I received my fourth Travelsmith Pashmina. Obviously I love these scarves, the price and quality can't be beat. The problem is I ordered this one in deep blue. I was expecting a midnight blue, close to navy, because that is how it appears on the websight. The color iof the scarf is very bright and vivid, close to royal blue or cobalt. The scarf is beautiful, just not the color I had hoped it would be. Will not be returning it, like I said, I love these scarves. December 20, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I expected I needed a pashmina for my son's wedding, and these looked like they'd be great. But the quality was not what I expected from TS. They were very thin material and the edges were poorly finished. The fringe appeared to be ready to fray from the edges and the weave was almost threadbare at the fringe edge. Such a shame, because the picture looked fabulous. I had bought three different colors but they all went back, unfortunately. October 15, 2013
