Sporty Zip Skort 4.4 5 5 5
Good value This fits and looks great . I purchased this for traveling because it washes nicely and looks better than wearing shorts. I love the hidden pockets too. My only suggestion would be to make it in other colors too! April 17, 2015
Looks like it will pack well; color a bit odd I was looking for a wash and wear skort for summer travel in Europe, and this looks like it will do the trick. I bought the "sand" color, as I thought the blue shown was too odd. In truth, the "sand" is a bit odd (off), too. I'll keep it unless I can find a better color from another vendor. I ordered petite small, and it is a bit large on me, even though I'm far from tiny. April 10, 2015
Great traveler I can't wait to wear this skort this summer. It is very comfortable. The length is to the top of the knee. Doesn't appear it will crease easily as well. April 7, 2015
Wore almost every day for two months I travel by bike, so this got stuffed tightly in panniers, and worn almost every evening when I got off the bike. I only was able to wash it once a week, but it still looked so good that I got compliments from strangers! Pros: Lightweight, packs small, easy to dress up with a nice scarf, but relaxed enough to substitute for jeans, enough ease to be comfortable on a long plane ride. The zippered pockets offer extra security in a crowd OR on a bike (I don't need to worry about anything falling out of the pockets!). The fabric is matte enough that the skirt has become my favorite skirt to wear bike commuting as well as traveling. It's just long enough to be modest enough for any environment where I don't need a burkha, without being stuffy. Cons: The undershorts are too light to stay down, and bunch up on a bike, so I cut them out, and wear long boy-leg underwear instead. I wish it came in more colors: navy or royal blue, grey, purple, a darker khaki or brown. This replaced and is an improvement on the discontinued old-style "Indispensable travel skirt" in my travel wardrobe, which I had cut to knee length and wore every evening when traveling. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the shorts don't work. Travelsmith, take note: this fills a market niche (Bike-skirts for grown-ups) that is otherwise unfilled. Can you market to this niche? March 25, 2015
quality product but length top quality merchandise. i still do not get why Travels Smith clumps lengths all into one size fits all. I am not 5 ft 10 inches tall. I am 5 ft 3 1/2 inches tall . Exact lengths are important. When descriptions say knee length, what height person are we talking about? Why not just list length, we do have a tape measure. i resent having to cut off 5 or 6 inches off skirt that says floor length and I walk on skirt, so it is not floor length. If loosing sales is so important why not help out tall gals and short gals so we know what we are getting? I do not believe customer service believes a person 5 ft 10 inches tall and one 5 3 /12 inches tall will wear the same length and I resent having to waste material and cut off so much and trash fabric since some customers are tall.
