Stretch Chambray Shirtdress

I just received this dress today at the sale price of $59. I wear a 16R and it is a perfect fit. Because it is a stretch fabric it does not pull across the shoulders (I have broad shoulders and long arms), the sleeves are not too tight, and is very comfortable. I have a broad shoulder/narrow hip body type and the skirt hangs nicely, no pocket gaps. Since I don't like self fabric tie belts, I will wear it with either a navy or red stretch belt (I have a bunch of them left over from the 80's and 90's). I am 5'-4 3/4" and the dress hits at mid calf. I will have to hem it to below the knee. It does seem to gap at the chest area between the 2nd and 3rd buttons below the neck and will need a snap sewn in. All in all, I love the dress and am wearing it as I type this. I have not worn or washed the dress but at this time I would highly recommend it.

Not Sized as I Expected
I normally wear a size L (14-16) and have found that to be a good fit for me in other clothing I've ordered from Travelsmith. This dress is sized differently, so I ordered a 16 to be safe. The dress fits perfectly except in the hips. It's just snug enough to make the in-seam pockets stand out, and it looks awful! I'm exchanging it for an 18 (ouch) because I love the color and style, but I'm hoping it won't be too big in the other areas.
