Traditional-Fit Comfort Denim Travel Jeans 4.5 5 91 93
Good but could be better I wear these jeans almost exclusively. They are a nice weight and I like that their coloration is the same as standard good quality jeans. I have found that the area around the crotch seam wears out much sooner than the rest of the jeans. This I assume is the down side of the thinness of the material to make them traveling jeans. The back zip pocket is useful for ready cash though I always feel vulnerable when I have valuables in my back pocket even if it is zipped. I don't find the hidden pocket useful for a passport since the passport gets bent up when you sit down. These jeans would be so much better for travel if they had a hidden pocket (perhaps accessible from within the front pocket) for a passport and a few zip side pockets (accessible from the outside leg seam) for point and shoot cameras or cell phones. I have modified a pair to have these pockets and that modification really made these excellent travelling jeans. Sadly it is a pain to make the modifications and the pair I modified have worn out too soon (surprise!) around the crotch seam. August 13, 2010
Not traditional Fit The description of these jeans says traditional fit not relaxed fit. The legs were way too baggy! Also, the 30 S pant legs were too long. I'm sending them back! June 27, 2015
Best travel jeans I've found These are the best travel jeans for warm climates I've found. The fabric is lightweight, there is a hidden security pocket (back right), and they stretch enough for bus travel (or big meals!) Some people discourage jeans for tropical travel because they don't dry quickly, but on the other hand, they hide stains better than artificial fabrics. I've found the fit just slightly small. Price is a bit high, but sales and "free shipping" deals help. I've probably bought 5 pairs now, worn them for several years. December 10, 2014
Unattractive and Baggy! I have purchased some comfortable and fairly stylish jeans in the past few years that have a little bit of lycra or similar material in the denim, and have a slim fit. Based on the photo and the fabric I hoped the same for these. But these jeans are baggy and not at all like the photo. Legs are not tapered or narrow. They fit almost like sweat pants. Quite disappointed. May 22, 2012
Always wore khakis before I never liked wearing jeans while travelling - other brands were too hot and confining. These jeans have changed my habits ... they are comfortable and stylish. I like the rear security zip pocket also - perfect for a passport. May 2, 2010
Very comfortable for long term wear. Look good even after sitting for hours. March 14, 2015
Great Jeans I have been buying these jeans for years. They fit well and are easy to care for. March 13, 2015
Unique - I wear them TOO much! I have tried many different Jeans products. I'll have to admit that for work around the house I buy a cheaper, standard product; but I always keep a newish pair of these for going out and travel. Their lightweight fabric can be washed in the PM and worn the next morning, (well a bit damp in the waist band - but so what!); and it keeps you cool. Sitting for long hours in a plane (we go to NZ alot) the stretch is very comfortable. Also after one of those 'too much' business meals I don't feel like I'm in a straight jacket (pants?). To get the same comfort in a non-stretch jeans you'd have to go 1 size up and then they would keep slipping down. These stay up and have a very trim look. I travel with these and a sport coat or leatherette jacket and feel dressed well enought go anywhere (actually jeans and jacket are very 'IN' in Europe). They may cost more than a standard jeans product, but you'll keep coming back for more after your first pair. I've been buying these for 10 years - the only problem - my wife yells at me if I start to wear them out in the garage for a work project! December 10, 2010
