Travel Power Strip 4.2 5 6 6
Good design, practical solution I can't agree with the poor review, which suggests that a travel product should have or include a European plug. But what if you are not going to Europe? Better to have a US plug that you can use with your other country adapters. Plus, you already have tons of adapters, right, so why pay for another? Also, you really don't need to use a larger grounded adapter, that's more a disclaimer than a necessity. This thing is nice and compact but has enough space between receptacles to fit various sized chargers for phone, i-products, wireless headsets, Bose headphones. Even when there are enough receptacles at a hotel desk or lamp, they are often poorly located for these chargers. This is the answer I've been looking for for domestic as well as foreign travel. The best accessory to take on a trip This has become my go to travel accessory and a great Bon Voyage gift. Many hotels have limited convenient outlet space. Especially overseas. Rather than play Rock Paper Scissors with my husband to see who gets the good one, we plug this in and have enough space for our phones, iPad and laptop (the USB spot will charge an iPhone). The best part is that this is rated for dual voltage which most power strips are not even though our electronics are. My strip has been lent out and been all over Europe, China, UK, South America as well as the US. Only one adapter is needed if using foreign outlets. Bonus - it makes you popular at the airport when everyone is jockeying for spots at the few and far between outlets. The only drawback is the orientation of the plug head and the stiff cord. It often lays awkwardly. I'm sure the plug orientation makes it smaller to pack, so if it would somehow rotate/flip, it would be perfect. August 21, 2013
Just What I Was Looking For! I also can't agree with the negative review. I purchased this travel power strip because it is compact and gives me 3 outlets that I can use. I realize that I will have to use an adapter outside of the USA, which I would have to do anyway. Not a problem. I have on occasion brought a full size power strip with me on trips. They are bulky and have more outlets than I actually need. This 3-outlet power strip is perfect! January 18, 2013
A wash This should have been returned the moment I realized the word "overseas" was gratuitous. Sure, you can use yet another(3-pronged, expensive!) receptor to connect it to an Italian outlet, but, shame on me, I assumed this was a TRAVEL power strip. May 23, 2012
Travel Power Strip It was great for my trip as I could put my phone, camera, & e-reader on at one time. On ships you usually have only one outlet so it was really a plus. It was used at night & then put it away during the day. Now I use it daily at home for multiple electronics. August 25, 2013
