solid purchase, a couple of issues
the chest pockets could be slightly larger; I think the buttons need to be more secure. It does handle the rain well although I have not been caught in a monsoon as yet.

Too hot to handle...
This product doesn't breathe, consequently your body gets uncomfortably hot in no time at all. Which rendered it nearly useless for me while traveling.
There is one pocket (interior breast) with a zipper. It is secure the others have a button or nothing to secure contents. It also has a separate interior pocket for a "phone" which is too small for any smart phone.
Feel that this jacket is not for anyone looking for comfort and usability when traveling.

Practical -- do check the buttons
The seams pucker, and therefore it looked a bit sloppy, which may be ok for denim and twill, but doesn't look smart/attractive in microfiber. So at first my husband resisted wearing it. However it proved versatile in fickle weather, light enough for a warm day and protective on cool/damp days and so it ended up being the most practical thing he brought along.
Most importantly -- check the buttons before your trip; it was very annoying on the trip to have to resew all 10 buttons as every one of them was poorly attached.

Very pleased with this purchase.
I bought this jacket for an upcoming trip to Europe. I hate taking evertything out of my pockets for airport security and thought this jacket would be just the thing.
As far as I can tell so far it is. Lots of well placed pockets,comfortable weight, and looks good. I can just take the jacket off and put it through x-ray. I can wear it as a casual sports coat or outer jacket. I usually wear a medium or a large, but bought a large based on reviews. It fits perfectly. Looking forward to wearing it on my trip.

Very nice jacket
Fits great, looks great. My only problem is the size of the opening of the two outside hand warming pockets. The opening measures 4 inches and my hands won't fit into them. I'm a large man (6'3", about 195#) but not huge. So in effect, it has no hand warming pockets. My iPhone fits but that's about it. Otherwise, I am very pleased.

Great coat/jacket
We just returned from a 14 day cruise thru the Baltic. The weather was chilly on board, and the Traveler Jacket was perfect. I bought it specially for the trip.... I ordered an XL & XXL, not being sure which would fit properly. The XL ran a little large which was perfect for me. It folds easily and fits comfortably over sweaters. Lots of pockets for stuff, and it looks great.
I would recommend it....you won't be disappointed. I really like!

Great Travel Jacket
I wanted a lightweight jacket that had lots of pockets that could be used to hold all those little things you have to remove before you go through TSA security. I also wanted a jacket that would pack well, and would resist wrinkles. This jacket is just the right weight for an airplane that may be just a little too cold. The 3/4 length means that it can also do a fairly good job protecting you from rain/snow. This jacket works great. I like that it has both flap/button pockets and a couple zipper pockets, too.
It does run small, so you may want to consider buying a little larger size.

good design
Coat is an xl and fit perfectly. After wearing it more, it was tight in the shoulders and uncomfortable when stretching and reaching. Not a good car coat.
