Traveler Jacket 3.8 5 27 28
If not for the buttons ... If not for the buttons, would've been 5 stars. They seemed looser than I liked, so I will reinforce them before I take this to Paris with me in May. Other than that, this is a great jacket. Lots of pockets. Comfortable in brisk weather. Sheds rain. April 8, 2014
Decent - With Some Shortcomings This jacket is a recent purchase, so it hasn't been "field tested" as yet. My initial impression is that it is light weight, fits well and looks good. However, a big drawback for me is that the interior pocket configuration is not as pictured. There are two pockets on each side, one being an open, double pouch type. Only one pocket is secured with a zipper. The phone pocket has an unsecured flap....and will not accommodate my phone if it's in it's case. I would hesitate to place any valuables in these pockets, other than the zippered one. I will have to get Velcro to secure the rest. There was some loose thread looping on one of the sleeve seams as well. Hopefully, the jacket will hold up and wear well. March 8, 2014
Jacket was just as described and what I wanted. It is a good wind and rain breaker. Should last a life time. All of the pocket will handle cell phone, compact camera, papers, and passport with pockets left over. March 13, 2014
Little Long This is a very nice jacket. I originally ordered XXL Tall and the sleeves were too long. I am 6'4" was surprised at how long the sleeves were. I reordered the regular XXL and it fit fine. December 16, 2013
Good Light Multi-Purpose Jacket Good light multi-purpose shell with multiple pockets. Polyester/nylon construction makes it quick drying and machine washable. Found size runs a bit small. Seems to be well made. Only time will tell. more and slightly larger inside pockets would have been appreciated February 12, 2014
very versitile The jacket lives up to the description of providing comfortable fit with practical applications for travel. January 7, 2014
Practical -- do check the buttons The seams pucker, and therefore it looked a bit sloppy, which may be ok for denim and twill, but doesn't look smart/attractive in microfiber. So at first my husband resisted wearing it. However it proved versatile in fickle weather, light enough for a warm day and protective on cool/damp days and so it ended up being the most practical thing he brought along. Most importantly -- check the buttons before your trip; it was very annoying on the trip to have to resew all 10 buttons as every one of them was poorly attached. May 11, 2012
Very pleased with this purchase. I bought this jacket for an upcoming trip to Europe. I hate taking evertything out of my pockets for airport security and thought this jacket would be just the thing. As far as I can tell so far it is. Lots of well placed pockets, comfortable weight, and looks good. I can just take the jacket off and put it through x-ray. I can wear it as a casual sports coat or outer jacket. I usually wear a medium or a large, but bought a large based on reviews. It fits perfectly. Looking forward to wearing it on my trip.
