Tissue thin material
I purchased these pants in stone color. I would never wear them because the material is so thin that you can see right through it!! The label inside the pants says " lining 100% polyester" but there is no lining!!! I will have spent around $20 in shipping for the delivery & return of this mistake. I regret this purchase.

Best Purchase Ever
I have just received my second pair of black Side Zip Pants. The first pair were purchased several years ago, I am still wearing them but the time has come to retire them! The new pair are even better because of the button and flap at the top of the zipper, which were not on my original pair. The zipper has never been a problem. I am looking forward to several years of wear from the new pants. Please keep this item on your inventory!!

No pockets?
Nice pants, and I appreciate the petite sizing, but no self-respecting pair of travel pants would leave the house without at least one pocket large enough for a key or credit card. In other words, they're fine for hanging around town, but I wouldn't take them on a trip.

Hem came out the first day worn
At the end of the first full day of wear, the hem came out on one leg of the slacks! I was traveling, so it was a huge inconvenience and certainly a symptom of shoddy workmanship. In other respects, I found these slacks attractive and non-wrinkling, with a larger than necessary waist.

Great Pants
Love these pants. Ordered them in black. They are so comfortable. At 5'0 I require a petite length in my pants. I received my 4P pants right on schedule. They are a tiny bit big in the waist but not a real problem and the length is perfect. I do have a concern about the side zipper not sure how long it is going to last. Enjoyed the pants to much I went back on line and bought the Stone color.

Great for tall gals
I'm 5'10" with a long inseam and I have a hard time looking for pants that are long enough. After one wearing, they fit perfectly. I can wear them with heels or flats and be comfortable.

Not as good as previous version
The previous iteration of these pants was much better. I own a half dozen pairs. Fabric a bit heavier, legs slimmer. These pants are way too floppy around the ankles. Also, yes, the zipper is wimpy and will give out before too long. Where are the interesting colors? Former dark green was very nice.

great pants, bad zipper
I love these comfortable pants with nicely draping, unrumpled fabric...but echo what others have said about the zipper. be prepared to have it replaced. However, I like the pants so much I was willing to do that. But, come on TravelSmith...Buy a vowel! Pants we pay this much for and otherwise rave about shouldn't need to have anything replaced.
