Rated 4 out of 5 by We will see Purchased this product for a trip to Europe this summer. It appears to be as advertized, however, I thought it was going to have a cover for it, now I realize upon receipt that the cover has to be purchased separately. I am undecided whether I will do so. Probably my own misunderstanding, but nevertheless disappointing, especially since that was not clear, and another purchase involves shipping expenses and further inconvenience. They should have been sold together. March 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by love this pillow apprehensive at first regarding it ability to inflate and deflate but when I got my pillow, found out there is no problem, 3 breth puff and it is inflated.I like the fact that the pillow cradles and prevent neck and trunk from rotating. Especially important for single traveller to have a pillow like this as they stay in their seat when they fall asleep. I hate seatmates that end up on my space or shoulder...hahaha. November 3, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not great for petite women OK, I took the Travel Pillow on our last trip to Spain. I tried using it like the woman in the picture, but there was no way it would fit with my small frame (5'3") and the way the seat is designed on American Airlines. It kept hitting me in the face and didn't stay put. Also, the person in back of me didn't appreciate the cord that you have to wrap around the seat. The only way I could figure out a comfortable position was when I switched seats with my husband and doubled it over so I could rest my head against the top of it, wedged against the window. It was vertical against the window, which served as a high pillow. Once I got comfortable, it was fine, but it took quite a while to figure out the best position. I'm not sure I'd recommend it if you're small like I am. November 30, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very disappointed I thought I had found the best travel pillow. I've been practicing using it before an upcoming long plane ride and noticed it wasn't holding in the air - slowly deflating. Then I saw a small hole in the seam. Sending it back. I knew it was too good to be true. September 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this pillow! I logged 345,000 miles this year due to my work and I have tried every travel pillow on the market. I suffer from a bulging disc which makes flying all the more uncomfortable. This travel pillow allows me to support my head and neck and I'm able to fall asleep and STAY asleep for a much longer period of time than with all of the other pillows I've tried. I find it easy to use although I recommend getting familiar with it before your flight and taking the instructions with you. I prefer the "messenger bag" way to use. Inflates quickly and easily with just a few puffs. You can also snap it to the outside of your carry-on bag for easy access. November 21, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent, comfortable, easy to use This is my second Travelrest pillow. I had to buy a second one because my husband continues to take mine. The valve has been improved and upgraded which is great, although the old valve worked fine for me. I recommend watching the instructional videos before using which are on the manufacturers website - it helped me quite bit. I need to let a little air out after takeoff due to the cabin pressure. I like how it creates a bit of a barrier from your neighbor - gave me a sense of additional privacy! There are two ways to use the pillow and I prefer attaching it to the seat when the seat allows. Also use it for long car trips. March 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by difficult on plane great for bed. I was looking forward to this purchase & read all the instructions. I was leary of the small/thin piece of plastic to pull the air nozzle open with. I wonder how many times of using it will last. I was uncomfortable in the plane using the TravelRest pillow. I inflated & deflated it trying to get the right "feel" I did use it at night when sleeping flat & liked it much better then. I will give it another "go" on my next trip before I completly decide if it is a keeper or not. I did like the feel of the material it was made of & the odd looks from other passengers when I pulled it out & started blowing it up was priceless. February 16, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I Won't Travel Without It Now I am so happy to have found this product! I flew from CA to NYC last year and found myself very jealous of the man sitting next to me that was using a TravelRest pillow. I asked him where he got it and quickly placed an order when I landed - I would have gotten it at the airport gift shop but I couldn't find one anywhere, so I had to wait till I could place an order online. I have not flown without it since. In the past I have tried the neck pillows, but my neck always hurt afterwards, the TravelRest one allows me to lean into the pillow and fully relax. I highly recommend this to any novice or seasoned traveler. May 2, 2011
