TravelSmith On Air Comfort Pillow 4 5 29 29
Solid quality, arrray of uses Purchased first one for overseas trip; it is rare to get three pillows on a bed, which is what I use at home. Used on plane with bed of U under neck and 'wings' at side above either ear for solid sleep without head turning. Sleeping in bed, used either between knees for back relief, or under head placing one 'wing' under head, or for hand/arm to rest on. Works as directed; inflate fully first, then place, and deflate to the level of air needed for comfort. Never used it fully inflated, but start there. Easy to inflate and deflate; I have never seen such a unique valve. Three big breaths for full inflation. And the easily removable and washable cover means camping with this pillow is no worry. Watch that you do not leave it in a hotel with a bedspread the same color as the cover! Avoid my loss and pack it first thing on awakening when leaving that day!! March 19, 2015
I like it This travel pillow is a replacement for an old one from another company. I really like this one. It inflates quickly, is very comfortable on the neck, and deflates to pack in a very small space with almost no weight. The only downside for me is that I find it to be rather balky around the facial area. April 23, 2015
Making the Best of Economy Seating Being an intrepid traveler, I've tried several neck pillows over the years. Of them all, this is the most comfortable and easy to use I've found. Very easy to inflate and deflate, folds small. October 21, 2013
love this pillow I've used a blow up pillow for at least 20 years...and this is the best I've had..soft on the outside, easy to get the air in and to release the air. I really recommend this for travel..even in the car. December 16, 2012
Fantastic travel pillow Many of my $10 inflatable pillows don't inflate, This pillow is so easy: Open value cover, puff a few times and it inflates. Open value cover again,, press button, it deflates in 10 seconds.Great improvement over any other brand pillow. Great alternative to dragging a fat foam pillow thru airport. Very good quality, sturdy, including the valve/cover. Pillow cover is soft, washable, & non polyester feeling (not scratchy). Perfect. March 23, 2015
air comfort pillow soft covering, easy to inflate and deflate, folds up to fit in small space. April 8, 2015
recommended with reservations up until a recent trip, i've been satisfied with the performance of this travel pillow-particularly its convenient size when deflated. however, when the pillow's bladder/liner ruptured along a seam, it became useless. i was unsuccessful in my repeated attempts to repair the seam area that gave way. it would be wonderful if there were replacement bladders/liners that were available for separate purchase as the other components of my pilow are fine. On Air Comfort Pillow This has all the earmarks of an excellent product. It's extremely easy to blow it up/let air out. Fooling with that little nipple thing you have to pull out and get the tiny stopper back into before the air runs out is a thing of the past. The cover on the quarter-size opening is only that; its function is not to hold the air in. Blowing easily into that wide opening fills it up to any extent you want and the air is automatically held in when you stop blowing. Inside the opening is a thing that says "On" on the top and looks like a little nipple you pull out to fill it, but it's not. DON'T pull on it. It's a valve that lets the air out with light pressure from your finger on the top of it. You can let a little or a lot out depending on how long you push. Blow more in if you let too much out, etc. The cover is a very soft and comfortable nap-like material. I notice an unobtrusive zipper in the back to take the bladder out and wash the cover if you wish. The pillow is very comfortable around the neck and should give as much/little support as you desire. I haven't left on my trip with it yet to test its durability, but other posters have spoken to that. I note the admonition from some of them to wait until the plane has reached altitude before you blow it up so that it doesn't expand beyond your expectations because of reduced cabin pressure if you blew it up while on the ground. I'm so happy to see this system and not to have to fool with that confounded little malicious air nipple anymore. This is so easy to use. August 1, 2014
