TravelSmith World-Time Alarm Clock 3.2 5 28 28
Very Disappointed Once programed, there is no way to turn this clock's alarm off. I cannot return it because it was on sale. It should not be offered to the public. Shame on TravelSmith. August 4, 2014
Don't Bother Everything you want in a travel alarm in one rather annoying little package. The time zone and temperature functions are very cool, and I'll keep it as a desk clock for that. Clock face is small and impossible to read in dim/moderate light w/o the backlight. Backlight only stays on for 3 seconds regardless of how long the switch is pressed. This DOES make the "beep" every time any button is depressed a problem. Flashlight only stays on as long as the "on" button is depressed -- so, useless as a functional flashlight (if you need to set it down). Time/date/alarm are not that hard to set up once you figure out the system, but a real pain to reset if the clock accidentally resets itself in your bag -- easy to have happen as the buttons are very touch sensitive and unshielded. This could have been a great product with a little more attention to practical details. July 24, 2013
Great idea, terrible design. Irritating. The worst thing about this is that there does not seem to be a way to stop the alarm from buzzing every morning, whether you want it to or not. I agree with the other comments below. Sure could use an instruction book - maybe there is a way to stop it from going off when you don't want it to do so. Some one who travels should have tested this design before production. June 8, 2014
Ok but hard to set without instructions Is there a way to find the instruction manual for this because i can't figure out how to set it without instructions and can't find them online. Also, the alarm isn't very loud May 31, 2014
Questionable operation Alarm is unreliable. I set it on snooze so that if the first alarm is inaudible maybe the next will be heard. I'm a light sleeper and would hear it if it rang. I use it every day and have now gone to backup with my E reader app. May 19, 2014
Could be better We got these for an upcoming trip and size wise, they are perfect, will fit just about anywhere. The one thing that I think could be better is the flashlight will not stay on, the button has to be held down. And as most items these days, the setting instructions were not clear as mud. Overall, it is a nice product and I would recommend it to others. April 21, 2014
Haven't used Hard to rate as I haven't used this yet. It is a nice looking clock and I expect it will fill the bill for an upcoming trip to Ireland. April 8, 2014
Good size clock Like this clock and it is a good size to carry. The only problem I can not get the flashlight to come on. Plan to keep it as may not need the light anyway. Will not have time to return it & wait for another. March 13, 2014
