TravelSox 4.4 5 47 47
Not what I needed My husband has edema, and these socks don't have enough compression. otherwise they are very good looking, and the quality of the material and construction are excellent. September 10, 2014
Great socks These socks are true to fit. Just use your shoe size to order. The socks are comfortable and will be terrific for any long flight. The khaki is a great color. August 27, 2014
works! As an airline pilot who flies a lot of long-haul routes with many 12 -17 hour ocean crossings, I encounter long periods of sitting despite adequate rest opportunities. After trying these socks on several trips now, I am convinced that they improve blood circulation in the legs and inhibit swelling. Even though I think the socks are way to expensive, they may be necessary to support my vascular health. Due to the high cost I am only wearing them during the long flights to get more time out of them. October 6, 2011
Good Insurance I have taken these TravelSox on several 10-hour flights and have never had a swelling problem so I believe they are good insurance. My wife always 'borrows' a pair of mine for the flights. We can feel the graduated compression... Which is a good thing on the flight but I find them difficult to put on and to pull up over my (heavier) calves since the top section has the most compression. One can wear these sox for daily needs on-tour because standing around demands extra support, too; however, the fabric is thin (washes and dries very well) but does not provide much padding for walking. I take Coolmax-blend walking socks for most of my daily wearing needs. April 7, 2011
Great socks Bought these socks as my feet tend to swell with travel. They work great to prevent swelling. Bought some for my husband who stands a lot with job and he finds them to be comfortable and helpful. Also bought some for my in-laws. Mother-in-law has ankle pain and these give her a lot of support to help with mobility and pain. Father-in-law has heart problems and swelling of extremities and he wears his with travel. The only thing I will say is that for short people the length is long. The difference in size seems to be from toe to heel rather than length. July 17, 2014
Good socks despite some fit issues I must have the fattest legs in North America because every knee sock I try is too tight at the top. I routinely find the stitching where the top folds into a cuff and remove it. With these socks that does the trick, thank goodness, though I do still have to get a size too large for my foot to accommodate my enormous legs (which really do not look much bigger than normal). That said, I do like these socks: they are more substantial and easier to put on than compression stockings but not as thick as Jobst compression socks, which require me to buy shoes a half size larger. The socks are comfortable and, once I make my alterations, do not bind at all at the top as most socks do. I'm going to buy more of them and get rid of some of the leg-stranglers in my sock drawer. Didn't help much! Didn't stop ankle swelling on a 4 hour flight. I wouldn't recommend them for anyone with a history of inflight swelling. But ok for those who haven't had problems and want to be cautious. July 14, 2014
Please Remove the Logo! In my job as a teacher, I end up spending many hours at a time completing paperwork on a computer. My feet can really swell when I have to do this, and I love the way these socks keep the swelling down. When I first began purchasing these socks there was no logo on the side. I generally wear quite long skirts to work that cover the logo, but a few of my skirts aren't quite long enough to do so. I'm not as ancient as all this makes me sound, and I have actually gone out of my way to purchase boots, just so I can still wear the socks with my not-quite-so-long skirts without looking like someone's invalid grandmother! Really, I can't imagine that the potentially embrassing logo enhances the product in any way. Please consider redesigning the socks without the logo. November 2, 2013
