Really good pants for travel
A bit pricey but definitely worth it. They are light, comfortable, and perfect for travel as well as everyday. I have started using TS for work as well as travel. I am average height and do not wear high heels so I selected petite rather than regular based on the inseam. The pants fit perfectly with a 1-1 1/2 inch heel. I am "curvey", according to friends, and the waist and hips fit true to size and the length is fine. I was concerned about the length from waist to crotch in petite but these worked well for me.

Not as pictured
These "pants" are like pajama bottoms. They have no shape and are very thin. I would not wear them in public. They are also very long even in the petite size. Disappointed that they have to go back.

HATE the pilling!!
I agree with most reviewers that these pants are extremely comfortable. They do not cling to unwanted areas and are very complimentary. But the awful problem is the pilling. After being worn 5-6 times, the pilling begins. I wash mine by hand in cold water and line dry but they still pill anyway. They begin to look awful and also get pulls very easily. This is the 4th pair I am buying because all of my other pairs look terrible. I love the way they feel and can be worn everywhere, I wish TravelSmith could do something about this. These pants are not cheap and should not have to be replaced so often, FIX IT PLEASE!!!

These pants are so cool and comfortable!
At first I thought these pants were too lightweight. I have changed my mind. Although i find them a little casual for work, they are perfect for casual dress. They are my coolest pants, which is nice in this hot summer. And they are very comfortable. I have even slept in them (by accident!). And they looked good enough to keep wearing after that! i gave them four stars because i thought they were a little pricey, and because I do find them fairly casual, but still I like them very much. Good fit, too. And even though they are lightweight, they don't 'hug' the bumps and they do conceal.

Disappointed with this purchase
I have bought many TravelSmith products for the past 15 years & overall very pleased with the products. These pants were disappointing--more like pajama pants than nice travel slacks. (I should have heeded an earlier review!) The fabric is flimsy and clingy in the wrong places. If you like wearing jammies on long bus rides, then these pants are great--that is when I wore them on a trip last fall to the Baltic countries. I ordered the petite size and they still were very long; I inexpertly hemmed them. I should have returned them, but it was just before my trip. And despite following the washing instructions, the pants started pilling very badly. I now wear them with a long black velour top for evening events, when no one can look too closely!

Great pants---More colors, please
During 2 weeks in Spain, wore these pants often. Good fit, lovely drape. Easy sink wash, hand wring, and dry next morning. I've never had a nicer travel pant. Only fault I can find is that there aren't more colors available. I would definitely buy a dark gray and navy.

Love these pants
These are very comfortable and easy for running errands as well as wearing around the house. From past experience with TravelSmith knit pants, I know they will work perfectly on my next trip.

WAY TOO LONG!!
Ordered the petite size because they are supposed to be 29 inches in length, and they are about five inches longer than that. They look like clown pants! They are big and baggy too. So disappointed. I am usually very pleased with Travelsmith products but there is something wrong with the overall sizing here. They are going back.
