Men's 15-Pocket Voyager Vest 4.7 5 138 141
Versatility embodied! This vest embodies versatility! I have many vests and particularly like those with many pockets, but some are made out of very thin material that presents an appearance too utilitarian for certain types of venues and activities. This vest moves easily between casual and somewhat more formal settings because the substantial fabric lies well and the collar, absent on many utilitarian vests, provides a modicum of "properness" that lends itself to slightly more serious milieus, like business meetings and church. I bought this vest in both khaki and charcoal to go with a wider range of my apparel, and it even looks great with a tie! I carry a lot of stuff around in my pockets, and this shifts the weight of my several sets of keys, wallets, sunglasses, camera, medications, etc. off of my hips and on to my shoulders in a way that allows me to balance the load. I consider this not just a comfortable and useful piece of clothing but a great invention! March 20, 2010
Good vest, watch the sizing Good vest with lots of pockets. Most of the pocket closures are Velcro, which is not my personal favorite (noisy, accumulates debris). What zippers there are are good quality though the teeth seem a bit fine. Big plus feature is side pockets for your hands. The only real issue I have is the sizing. I wear a 44L and purchased a Large of this vest per the sizing chart. It's quite large, particularly compared to a rival travel vest I own that specified an XL for the same 44 size, and that vest is much smaller. This vest not unwearable, it just is notably on the looser end. October 12, 2014
Great investment. Comfortable and practical I would recommend it. October 18, 2014
I have been using another vest for the last 20 years and find this one far superior in quality and looks. October 14, 2014
Brilliant Idea! I purchased this travel vest for a trip to Scotland and Ireland and it was one of the smartest things I ever did. It performed brilliantly. I love this vest! It is lightweight and has plenty of secure pockets that allow me to keep all my stuff organized and close at hand. Best of all, it allows me to be hands-free; I don't have to carry anything or lug around a bulky backpack. It looks good and keeps me warm in the cold or wind. I highly recommend this travel vest! Caution on sizing but love the vest Voyager Vest Men’s Olive Large and Medium sizes This vest was purchased for my husband as a surprise for a 2-week train trip where we can’t take much luggage. His build is a trim 5’10”, 170 pounds, 42 chest. He was thrilled with it. In the reviews I read that the Men’s Voyager vest ran large but thought in cooler weather a sweater would fit under it nicely. We took it on the trip and he loved it, never taking it off. He could put all of his electronic gear’s chords, his cell phone, his small chess set, a book, his glasses, the tickets, his wallet and more! This included his Kindle Fire, and with some working, even my Samsung 10.2 Galaxy tablet in the vertical front pockets. However, after the trip when he saw pictures of himself with it on. He took it off and hasn’t put it on since. He said to return it. It was so large he hates the way it looks. For a large, this vest is HUGE. Even worn over a bulky sweater, it overlaps in the front by a good 2 inches. So we decided we would exchange for a medium. When it arrived it was too small – especially around the bottom of the vest; he could barely zip it closed it was so tight. And, my husband has a small rear end! He told me to return both vests. In spite of what he said, the number and design of the pockets is so well thought out, and he originally liked the vest so well, that I am returning the medium and will keep the large and spend the money to have the fit adjusted which I hate to do since these vests are expensive. In the future, please have your design teams make some adjustments to the size of these vests. August 25, 2014
Great Vest! I love this vest. Appears to me very well made. I like the fact that it has a metal zipper as I had had too many plastic zippers fail. Fits well and is very functional. Planning on taking it to Europe next month! September 26, 2014
Great for Horse Riding! Although I am a woman, I ordered the man's version of this product since it wasn't as fitted, it has more pockets, and the pockets looked bigger. I am going to use it when horse trail riding. It's important to have essential items on me rather than on the horse in case I get separated from my horse. This has happened to me twice when two different horses bucked me off when I was riding alone and the horses ran off. Luckily, I had my cell phone in a zipped pocket both times; but two pockets in a regular vest doesn't hold enough essential items in case I had to spend the night in the wilderness. Cell phone, GPS, small flashlight, Swiss army knife, food bar, chap stick, sun glasses, TP, etc. This vest is lightweight for summer and can be layered over warmer clothes for winter. I love the material. Great product. June 22, 2012
