Washable Wool-Blend Two-Button Sport Coat 3.9 5 14 14
fabric looks dressy and drapes well Blazer fits well. Material looks pressed and drapes well, not baggy. Style is adequate average, not a WOW! but nice enough for travel or every day wear. I have same blazer in navy and it has been a workhorse - holds up well. In fact, I wore out the lining of my first navy blazer and liked it enough to have ordered another navy one. I didn't realize I'd ordered a black one of the same style because the ad had changed or maybe I'm older now and didn't remember. October 17, 2014
Almost bullet proof I've had the suit for about six months. Both the jacket and pants required alterations to get a good fit. I had it hemmed, sleeves altered, and the jacket was taken in. The most rigorous test was living in the suit for three days. One day sitting on planes and then a late jacket and tie dinner, one day of meetings, late dinner, and taxis. The last day was an 18 hour day, jacket and tie meetings in the AM and then about 10 hours of airport and flights. I threw the jacket in a loosely packed duffel bag for the last 10 hours. After all that the jacket looks wrinkle free, like it could go on forever. The pants look good in the front but there are some "sitting" wrinkles that have not cleared after sitting on a hanger for 12 hours. I think a few wrinkles back there are inevitable, the creases are spotless including the knee area. After 30 years of riding planes, this suit holds up better than anything I've ever owned including those $1500+ fine tropical weight wools. All that was the good. Now for the bad. The cloth is heavy. You don't want to be outside where it's warm. If you are one of those people that is always warm, forget this garment. I would characterize this suit as three season. NOT for summer. August 5, 2011
exactly as promised fit was perfect. For the price, I could not have expected more. September 12, 2014
Nice Blazer! Nice looking blazer. Great fit right out of the box! I am very impressed. Came out of the box like we just picked it up from the cleaners. Looking forward to wearing this garment on my next business trip. I have purchased the underwear but never any other clothing. This will not be my last purchase! September 5, 2014
Not for athletic builds The jacket seemed to be well made, however, it was very large across the abdomen and seemed impossible to get it reasonably tailored to fit. The pockets were nice, the style was nice. This was purchased for my husband who is athletic. A smaller size would not work as the shoulders and sleeves are correct in his regular size (38S). It wrapped around like a bathrobe. June 19, 2014
good deal and good blazer I purchased the blazer in preparation for my frequent travels after retirement. It fits me well and I like the washable part of it, too. Travelsmith was very accommodating in allowing me to change size and color without any hassles. I enjoy buying from them because they have the right gear for my travels. March 12, 2014
great travel jacket Lots of interior pockets and looks 'dressy;' for those special travel dinners or business. Do let people know the slacks are matching to enable people to make it a sui0---a real cudo especially for those that want to purchase two sets of slacks for a suit. #slacks are a bit pricey which ends to be evaluated. Not too many people will purchase slacks for $99 on their own, but as part of a suit--yes.# Jacket was quite reasonable, especially on sale. Travel Smith tends to be a bit pricey on many of their products for the value, and sales would probably jump if true pricing became more realistic and inline with the market. April 10, 2014
wrinkles After reading the high reviews of this item I thought I'd get one. After I received it, I thought I must have been reading reviews for a different coat. When it arrived it had wrinkles from shipping that have never gone away. I took it on a three week trip, packed, neatly folded. When I took it out of the suitcase, it looked like I had slept in it. I tried hanging it out. I tried the steam in the bathroom method. Nothing has worked. Short of getting someone to iron it, it will continue to look like it was slept in. I will probably return it. I'd really appreciate a comment from Travel Smith on this. October 19, 2011
