practical choice
Great little jacket; can wear it to the office, casually and would wear it on a cruise but perhaps not on formal night or dinner with the Captain. Really like the inside pocket. Found sizing to be appropriate. A note of caution to Canadian purchasers: I was not advised the shipping charges would be $40. The package was sent UPS therefore there were brokerage fees. The extra charges totalled $77 which is nearly the cost of the jacket.

Really pretty, but runs very small
Very versatile and very pretty. Runs very small. Am usually barely a 14 (more of a 12) and the 14 was very small.

Tweed Jacket
Neutral to go with lots of things with a little bit of dazzle. Good for dress up or with jeans.

NOT SO GREAT
I ordered this jacket for a Christmas-season holiday cruise to South America that requires an all-season approach to clothing and also the ability to dress up or dress down as the holidays progress. From the description, I thought this jacket would be perfect, but was disappointed when it arrived. First, it was a little too small for me, despite its being my normal size. Second, the metallic threads in the jacket are hard to detect unless you look very closely. From a distance, it just looks like a black and white tweed jacket with no distinctive appearance. The collar will not stand up no matter how hard I try, unlike on your picture with the model. For a mediocre look, this jacket just isn't worth its premium price. I'm returning it.
