Rated 2 out of 5 by Too short in rise Pants were too short in rise. Maybe a "tall" version? February 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The slacks are ideal for the south which is where we are located. The fabric is light, wears well, and looks good all day. We would highly recommend this article of clothing to purchase to others who might be looking for this type of pants. January 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great pants Perfect for all but formal occasions and after receiving, wrinkles went away after being on a hanger overnight January 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these pants My only complaint is that the old sizing (pre 2007) fit me better. Now the large is too big and the medium is rather tight. Medium used to fit me perfectly. Would be nice if these pants had belt loops. I wear them with un-tucked shirts most of the time (to hide the elastic waist). I bought my first pair of these in about 1998 for cross country skiing. Then started wearing them for travel and now wear them every day. These pants keep you cool when it's hot and dry quickly in cold wet weather. I still wear them for cross country skiing with only briefs under them down to about 10 degrees fahrenheit. At lower temps, I add some light weight long underwear. I dislike pants that are too warm. These pants keep me cooler than any other long pants (even the "charcoal" color in direct sunlight). And I think they look great with un-tucked straight-hem shirts. April 28, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Big surprise I ordered these pants for an upcoming trip to Thailand and wow, I was so disappointed. Based on the reviews, thought they would be the best travel/hiking pants ever and they might be, but the material seemed flimsy and too thin. They weren't at all what I was expecting from the descriptions by folks who owned one or more pair. Had to return them; just fair quality for the money. Expected more from TravelSmith. Rated 5 out of 5 by Here's some pants you'll want to get into! I have bought quite a few pairs of these particular pants in various colors over the years....and whined the years the catalog didn't carry them. These are the best pants ever! I love the color stone and find them to be incredibly versitile. Two other factors put them over the top. 1) They wash up like a dream and dry in a flash. But take them out of the dryer quickly, shake them out, stretch the seams a bit and smooth them with your hand. That's it.....no ironing necessary. And number 2, they are incredibly light so they take practically zero space in the packing. And despite the lightness, I've worn the black ones in the dead of winter in Northern Europe and they work fine with tall socks and a long coat. Grab a pair of these bad boys, you won't be sorry! Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pants They fit well, are sturdily constructed, look good. One front and one rear extra, zippered security pockets are a handy feature. If you are looking for a "slim" fit you may not want them - on me, they are a "regular" fit. September 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by good buy with discounts, fits a little too long, waist ok. September 16, 2015
