CoolMax Travel Blanket 4.7 5 82 85
Nice Blanket This blanket looks very thin – but looks are deceiving. It is very warm. For those of you who need to feel the weight of a blanket to be comfortable, this is not for you, it weighs next to nothing. How it can be so lightweight yet so warm is just one of life’s little mysteries. I am a guy so this does not apply to me, but..several posts have commented that his could be used as a shawl, wrap or even a skirt. I can see that. It is a very lovely piece of fabric. It would not look like you have wrapped a blanket around yourself. I really like the size. People have posted that it is about the size of a soda can. It is slightly bigger than that. I would say it is approximately the size of a jar of a quart jar. It is easy to poke back into the little nylon sack that it comes with. I did not try to roll or fold mine neatly; I simply shoved it back into the sack. It fits nicely and is not a struggle to get back in. could be done with ease from an airline seat. I am very happy with the blanket. June 4, 2013
Happy with purchase I tried the blanket watching TV and It did keep me warm in spite of the fact that it is very thin. I was able to get it back in the pouch with no problem. April 8, 2014
Glad I Bought Bought this for an upcoming European trip- but just used it for a domestic trip- so glad I had it on the plane- I fold it in half and have a double weight around my shoulders and it was perfect. Easy to get back in the bag as well. March 28, 2014
Love this!! Based on the reviews here I bought 3 of these blankets last spring for a trip 2 of my adult children and I were going on. I bought the black, the charcoal and the red. The black is kind of a dull black and was my least favorite color of the three. The charcoal is kind of taupy-grey, nice and subtle and the red is a nice subdued red, not bright. That was my favorite. And I'm glad I got mine back from the man in our travel group who borrowed it - for 5 days! He really liked it too! The blankets worked exactly like the other reviews have said - they are warm despite seeming too thin to be effective, they pack easily in their relatively small case and they wash like a dream. I'm very happy with this purchase! October 17, 2013
Trip Blanket Light enough and small enough to pack into a tote. Would love to have had this on my last trip! March 20, 2014
warm in the air I have not used this product as I have intended. I bought it for when I fly commercially over an hour's time or more. I do like the fact that it can be taken out of the carrying bag, used, and then just "stuffed" back into the bag. Not having to refold the blanket into it's original shape saves a lot of unnecessary movements that one does not have in confined spaces as in economy commercial airline travel! February 12, 2014
Meets expectations Have yet to travel with product however expect item to meet needs February 3, 2014
Deceptively warm! This blanket is sooo thin, when I first unpacked it I thought "no way this will keep me warm on a plane!" Before we left, I was watching TV, got a chill and started to pull my thick comforter over me. I decided to give this blanket a test run instead. Honestly, it's so thin you can see through it, but it took the chill away and warmed me right up. I washed it twice before we left, with no trouble - it didn't pill, still looked like new. AND, it is easy to get back into the small, well-designed bag it came in. Yeah! No tricks or special instruction needed - fold and roll, it slides right in. Takes up little space in a carry-on, and also found it useful in European hotel rooms that were a little chilly in April. The other thing I like - I bought the chocolate, and while it does show a few wrinkles, it doesn't look awful (like a pink one I bought from a different maker). A good purchase, and I will use it at home as well! May 5, 2013
