Rated 4 out of 5 by Repeat purchase but this one is different My husband has worn his original light colored Hybrid Travel jacket all over the world. Now we wanted a darker, more practical color. Original jacket was aize S, which doesn't exist any more, so we ordered size M. New jacket fits the same in the torso, but the sleeves are 2 1/2 inches too long. So something in the sizing has changed. We'll keep the jacket and have the sleeves altered, since everything else about it (fabric, zippered pockets, style) work so well. Original jacket washed and dried very quickly. Hope this new one is the same. Rated value lower because of the extra cost of alterations. September 19, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst Purchase Ever Too big, too large, too dark, too wrinkled. First and probably last purchase from Travelsmith. September 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by I'm Impressed Wow, it fits like it was made for me, I am happy about all the pockets. The only downside was when I put it in the drier to get rid of all the wrinkles (and there were a bunch) the wrinkles came out but two of the buttons came off. My wife sewed them back on as well as re-doing the only one remaining. Other than that this jacket is perfect for what it is: a light weight travel jacket that won't take up much space in my bag and will be nice enough looking for the occasional night on the town. Rated 4 out of 5 by Travel Jacket This light-weight jacket is all that the description implies. It is light weight and it does the job of being acceptable at dinner out on the town as well as visiting museums, stores, etc. I would have preferred the olive color instead of brown, but that is hindsight. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Looking Jacket Bought this jacket for an upcoming Fall trip to Belgium. I think this will be great for this time of year. September 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by I Like It Jacket fits good, true to size. It feels lightweight but comfortable. I've worn it mostly in warm to mild weather, and it is a good, casual selection. I've rolled it up and crammed it into my carry-on bag, then when I reached my destination I shook it out and put it right back on. Maybe not the best way to treat it, but that's what happened and it came out ok. The only negative: the lapels do not stay folded like in the picture. When jacket is unbuttoned, they fall open. The buttons on the front of the coat have a small, clear button on the inside as extra backing. However, they reflect light and on the Navy jacket that I have, they really show up. They should have been a dark navy color instead so they would be camouflaged against the material of the jacket. October 26, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far so good Really have not had a chance to use it yet. One problem is that it came out of the package badly wrinkled/creased. The creases do not come out easily! August 29, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not enough secure pockets Like all travel jackets (not only the ones from Travel Smith) this jacket doesn't have enough secure interior pockets. (In fact, it has only one - the others are not secure). When you travel as a family with two kids, you have four passports, four tickets, four boarding passes, etc., not to mention other documents, credit cards, cash. Also, the jacket arrived very, very wrinkled. I worked on it with my clothes steamer for at least half an hour, and it looks relatively decent now, but I wouldn't pack it in a suitcase. Actually, I bought it because I thought I could wear it on trips and then also, when we get there, to places like fine restaurants, concert halls, even the opera. I hope some day TravelSmith will invent a jacket that combines casual chic with practicality. I decided to keep this one, although it's not what I was expecting. March 17, 2012
