Pacsafe Metrosafe 200 GII Shoulder Bag 4.6 5 56 57
Would be good but straps too narrow I purchased this backpack for a trip to France. I liked that it had RFID pockets and was very secure. I wasn't so concerned about styling, but this bag isn't awful in that category either. It surely meets the mark for security. What made the bag totally unfit for me is that the straps are so narrow they cut into my shoulders with just a few things in the bag. Fully loaded with the things I planned to carry, I could wear it for about 5 minutes and that was it. How useful is a backpack if it's uncomfortable to wear? I have a tiny Puma backpack that has straps twice as wide, even though it can hold only half as much. I'll be using the one I have and sending this one back. I want something secure, but I have to be able to wear it and use it. February 22, 2015
Too Heavy and Ugly to Use I wanted a safe purse for a trip to Europe, so I looked at the reviews and purchased this one. I was surprised when the purse arrived - it's so heavy it feels like it's already full. That alone is enough to make me send it back. I have another nylon purse that weighs a fraction of the weight, and I'll probably use that with my RFID wallet. Since I'm going to Paris, I can't carry a purse that looks this bad - it looks like a man-bag, not something a woman would carry. If you are going to be out and away from people, maybe it would be a good choice, but don't buy it if you can't handle the added weight. February 22, 2015
Great Purse - but.... Ok, this is a great bag - I felt very secure, and I LOVED the ability to lock it to something solid (a chair, table leg, whatever). However, it could use a couple of small improvements - more interior pockets, rather than having all the small stuff getting lost in the large central cavity. There is one pocket on the side of the inside, but it's also pretty big. The exterior zippered pocket is also quite large - but this was very handy for holding maps etc. The other exterior side of the bag was a velcro'd flap. Under the flap were very convenient pockets - one zippered with slots for cell phone etc, and one slit pocket for larger items. My only issue with that flap was that when I'd flip the velcro'd side up to access it, if I was wearing a sweater the velcro would snag (and ruin!!) the sweater. I learned after a couple of times, but sometimes would inadvertently happen again. :-( May 19, 2010
Great purchase! I like that it is gray inside that makes it easy to find things. I also like the two padded areas in the outer compartment for my blackberry and my camera. The divider in the main compartment keeps things separate. The two side pockets let me store things like umbrellas and water bottles. The basic style makes it one that I can ask my husband to hold/carry for me without it loooking like he is holding a ladies' purse. March 27, 2010
Bag is good quality- but not much room. I purchased this bag to be my main carry-on- but there is not much room for other items if you carry a tablet. This will make a good daily bag on a trip- for regular items, wallets, phones, etc. I do like the side water bottle pockets and the fact that it is RFID safe- and water repellant. It i s comfortable to "wear" as a cross body bag. It is neutral in style so a man could carry it as well. The strap is adjustable. January 28, 2015
Great for travel I recently purchased this shoulder bag for my wife as a gift. We travel extensively and she is always on the look out for a secure travel shoulder bag. She loves this bag because of all the security features and it also does not scream tourist. The bag holds the Ipad and a number of other items which all are packed neatly and secure. Reasonably priced for all the features. January 21, 2015
Great bag, it worked well I thought " I am not going to lock and unlock those tabs every time I want to get into my purse". It wasn't an issue. Took 1/2 sec and then I felt secure that nothing would fall out and sticky hands would get in. The side pouches do hold an umbrella and a water bottle. I would like a place for pens. August 1, 2010
Be Safe Be organized I purchased this the Metro Safe in 2008 and have used on several UK and US trips. I helps to keep all travel documents, money, small electronics safe, easy to access when you need to (i.e. train station, customs, airport). It is not very fashionable for ladies, the velco flap is starting to wear out, and is rather klunky for all day use. Recommend to use when travelling from place to place, lock in room when you arrive and for ladies downsize to a smaller, fashionable purse to hold you absolute essentials for evening.
