Anywhere Convertible Pants by TravelSmith: Updated with a more flattering fit, adjustable belt, and fly zipper, these short-ready convertible pants are a great choice for long days on the train, plane, or trails. With side pockets and secure back pockets.

"These pants are awesome! I wore w/o undergarment and the material chafed, almost injured my private parts. The conversions to shorts, make them cosy to wear at the house, nevertheless, it's tropical climate and avocados are light enough, and that dryness and efficient enough to wear on outings, and a picbic, again. "

"My husband had khaki ones. Looked askance at the grey. Put them on and has been wearing every chance. I love the fact that the belt is "transparent" to TSA.; so no fumbling with belt at security. I saw a man with a pair flying back to USA from England , they looked professional yet comfortable. Wish they still had size XL in navy. "

"Fine product - Overall, a fine product. With a few, simple design improvements could be outstanding: zippers on pant legs to allow easy pulling on or off over shoes/ boots; a second rear pocket; a tad more room and reinforcement at waistband to allow easy tucking in of- I recommend this product."

"Made my husband's day! - I ordered these for my husband for a couple of upcoming trips where the weather could go either way. He is very, very happy with these pants. I had him do a trial run with removing and replacing the zip off legs and he did it very easily. Even I'm glad he- I recommend this product."

"Do not buy these - The belt twists and is very difficult to straighten out.My wallet keeps falling out of my front pocket where I keep it because of back pain if I carry it in the rear pocket.I would not recommend this product."

"ALMOST perfect - Overall quality better than expected, and I have high expectations. Only flaw is the nylon swoosh when I walk. I have other similar nylon pants that don't. It would seem that the heavier gauge Supplex is the culprit.- I recommend this product."

"CONVERTABLE PANTS - I bought 3 pairs to try then ordered this size because I was not sure of the others.. Probably these are a good buy if it is your size. I did not keep this but it was a front runner, but I just decided it was too "roomy" in the thighs. the lower legs were- I recommend this product."

"Nice looking pant - Purchased the charcoal grey for my husband..He likes the color but was concerned about the rise. Seemed to be short on first glance, but appears to wear OK. Fabric is light weight and should breath well as supplex. Had to shorten, but was not difficult an- I recommend this product."

"Good, not great - I bought a pair of these convertible pants for a trip to Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. They do have some drawbacks. The short length is quite short for anyone over 30 and definitely too short for places requiring the knees to be covered such as a mosque. The- I recommend this product."

"Bad Buckle - Overall, nice design and comfortable material however, the buckles on the 2 pairs I bought were poorly made and would not stay latched. A deep breath or minimal movement caused the buckle to pop loose. Replaced them with $1 buckles from local sporting gooI would not recommend this product."

"Versatile, sturdy - I own several of these pants and the non-convertible Anywhere pants as well. They dry quickly, so they are outstanding rain gear. Surprisingly, they are very sturdy, being immune to scraping or tearing. They are, of course, lightweight and versatile. The- I recommend this product."

"Best value - These pants are the absolute best. Have two pair and have taken them around Europe and the western U.S. I now take no other pants as these fill the need for shorts, walking, and moderate dress for restaurants. Wash in the shower and dry in minutes. Zipper- I recommend this product."
